It’s National Tequila Day on 24th July, Espolòn tequila wants you to embrace the unconventional and celebrate Modern Mexico by making a traditional Mexican tequila serve, the Sangrita.

A balanced combination of spice and citrus, the Sangrita is a short tomato-based drink paired with a neat measure of tequila blanco.

Originating from Guadalajara, Mexico, the Sangrita is enjoyed by alternately sipping the Sangrita and the tequila. Originally made using the leftover juices from the Pico De Gallo eaten at breakfast, the Sangrita is an intricate blend of ingredients which can be tailored to your own taste buds.

The recipe combines orange juice, lime juice, tomato juice, and pomegranate juice, with hot sauce for a spicy kick that accentuates the tasting notes of pepper, vanilla bean, grilled pineapple and spice in Espolòn Tequila Blanco.
