Serious eating is a messy business at Brindisa this Spring, as they celebrate the Galician Mariscada seafood feast.

“Mariscada is a celebration of spring and seafood. It is a meal enjoyed by all Spanish coastal families. Even though we are a long way from Spain and the sea – The Wright Brothers allow us to bring this beloved sharing dish to London with their quality seafood” says Brindisa Executive Chef Josep Carbone

Traditionally across Northwest Spain great displays of seafood can be seen in local restaurants; customers pile their plates high with prawns, razor clams, mussels, crab, lobsters, scallops and langoustines, all washed down with plenty of chilled Cava. As their plates empty, the piles of discarded waste grow higher and higher around their feet, waiting to be swept away ready for the next round.

Brindisa’s Mariscada will be available Saturday and Sunday throughout May and June at Tapas Brindisa Casa in Kensington, Morada Brindisa in Piccadilly and Tramontana Brindisa in Shoreditch. Feast on a selection of shellfish and seafood with aioli, samphire, spicy mojos sauce, and plenty of bread to mop up all those juices!

Mariscada menu is £40pp and includes Wright Brothers Market selection of seafood and shellfish, aioli, mojos sauce, samphire, lemon, bread and olive oil. Enjoy with bottomless Cava for a £15pp supplement.
