I took my team here for dinner and I was very impressed. The food was great, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent too. It was an ideal atmosphere for our get together, very relaxed and quirky.

Great restaurant and location, right opposite Waterloo station. Nice to see an indian restaurant than steps away from the normal decor, it was quite funky and love the high up dining options! Staff are always really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again.

Unfortunately the food has gone a little downhill since I last visited a few years ago. I love the original design of the little booths you can dine in but the food... Although nicely presented, the flavour is definitely lacking. It's OKAY but I've had far FAR better Indian elsewhere.

I visited Bangalore Express in Waterloo Road on 1st May The food was excellent, not the usual high street Indian fodder, with dishes from around the world of Spice! Service was very attentive and with a 50% of all food deal the bill was a pleasant surprise! I will be back again

Lovely relaxed Indian restaurant very close to Waterloon Station. Good menu and good options for Indian tapas if you don't want a big meal. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

A really nice restaurant with a good atmoshpere. Quite unique in how the seats on the side are designed like railway carriages and you have to climbe a ladder to get to your table if you sit on the top - yes there are tables on top of other tables. It sounds strange but really works well. Friendly and polite waiters with a good selection of meals. I recommend one of the Thali dishes.

Amazing food. Sitting on the 1/2 floor was kind of new and good...

Bangalore Express for lunch was a good solid choice as usual - we had the lunch special with chicken.

A good variety of food and well presented, however, a couple of our dishes were served to our table cold and had to be returned. Service was ok. The waiter spilt some chutney on one of the diners and didn't concerned of offer any form of apology. Interesting to see the upper and lower seating levels. We didn't sit there as our group was too bin to fit.

Consistently good.

The food at Bangalore was alright, but not as good as I'd been expecting from other reviews. However, for the price there were large portions and we all left feeling full. I liked the mini desert and coffee idea, but again the quality wasn't great. Sorry Bangalore!

Food great as usual, but instead of Bangalore Express it was Bangalore Spokes. Despite the place being empty (we even sat down an hour earlier than we booked) it took ages to get service. We complained, and it *still* took ages!

Bangalore express in Londonwas as good as ever - excellant Thali and the chilli chips are great - we have been before abnd will certainly be going again

Brilliant as always! My favourite indian restaurant!

Six of us enjoyed a meal at the Bangalore Express opposite Waterloo Station in London. Food and service were excellent. The menu has a list of tapas style dishes to share, mains and sides. The choices were unusual and distinctive and all but the chilli squid delicious. My favourites were the goat curry, peanut chilli side dish and lambs liver tapas, but the only problem was that we would have liked to try more dishes. Our vegetarian diner was very well catered for both in range and flavours.

We visited Bangalore Express in Waterloo at Sunday lunchtime. It was rather quiet but service was attentive the food tasty and the portions generous.

Great location for a causal get together with friends. Service was great and very accomodating for large groups. Menu is interesting, lots of different things to try- twist on some traditional dishes. Have been here many times and will continue to visit!

Great food, good choice, efficient service.. Buzzy atmosphere and great location for the Old Vic. Would definitely go again.

Bangalore Express was a solid lunch venue as always ... we had big plates. Good food, good quick service.

This is the third time I have been to this restaurant and it has been great every time. Great food that is different to your standard Indian menu and very reasonably priced. Efficient staff. Upstairs booths make it a novelty outing. Every time I’ve been there’s been a queue out the door so obviously a popular place. Will definitely be back.
