About Boisdale of Canary Wharf Oyster Bar & Grill

Overlooking the fountains of Cabot Place in a Gotham City style building, Boisdale of Canary Wharf is poised to become one of London’s most iconic dining and entertaining spots. Frequented by business types fresh from the high powered towers of Canary Wharf, Boisdale blends a stunning setting with comfort and a high level of service with a warm, smiling welcome. On the First Floor, the colonial Art Deco-inspired Oyster Bar & Grill, surrounded by palm trees, is a crescent of white marble at the centre of which is a magnificent crustacean display. The Oyster Bar & Grill serves a definitive range of oysters, Hebridean shellfish, Scottish smoked salmon and a superb range of caviar, alongside Boisdale’s legendary steaks and burgers. The Oyster Bar & Grill also boasts an alfresco dining terrace and smoking area, seating up to 40 people with views over to the City.

My husband and I are foodies and have been on a quest to find the best gourmet burger in London. The burgers at Boisdale would be up there. I love truffle so ordered the Truffle Burger, which was lovely. My husband prefers a meaty taste so found the tarragon in the Classic Burger too overpowering. The chips were nice but we've had better. Great ambience. Would take guests there. Good value with the 25% deal.

Amazing oysters and hamburgers!

Food and service good

I had lunch at Boisdale Canary Wharf Oyster Bar and Grill with a work colleague. We both had steak mains with a selection of sides. The steak was cooked perfectly although the cuts were a bit too fatty to give it a premium cut rating. The sides were excellent. The service was attentive and with the 50% off food deal this is good value.

Quite a unique set up, especially for Canary wharf. Definitely promoted as high end, with high quality menu and wine list. Im not sure it's worth the premuim price without 50%off. For example, the steaks are expensive and although bigcome with nothing else unless you spend another £5 on a rather modest side dish. Even their house wines start at £25-£30, would be good if they had a few things catering to those without corporate expense accounts or gold cards, as many swanky restaurants now d

Boisdale Canary Wharf Oyster Bar & Grill

Lovely food and attentive service, thoroughly remommended.

We used the 50% off and each had a full lobster which was very nice. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back if the offer is still available.

Had an early dinner at the bar at Boisdale Canary Wharf. My hamburger was delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare. The crab appetizer was Ok, nothing special. My husband loved the oysters and his Caesar salad had a wonderful dressing. We will be back.

I had a lovely experience at Boisdale of Canary Wharf Oyster Bar. Food was delicious and oyster was very fresh and light. Scotch quail egg was amazing and fried white bait was excellent too.

Very good food & service

Very good quality fish and chips.

Boisedale of Canary Wharf was a bit of a lunch time treat. It was very quiet in there but it was nice to get away from the hussle and bussle of Canary Wharf!

Burger was lovely though the service was a bit slow.

Fantastic buzz - it is always such fun at Boisdale. The Oyster Bar and Grill is a great alternative to the main restaurant. Highly recommended!

great food and atmospher at boisdale and offer on tt deal

The meal we had at Boisdale's canary wharf was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly. The sides were not great and I think the taste can be improved - specifically the mash with cabbage and bacon and the whipped king edwards.

The service was a bit slow but I have eaten there before so perhaps due to being busy but overall I had a good evening.

Boisdale, Canary Wharf. A standard for when I'm meeting clients in E14 and it never lets us down. A shame to be dining only with other 'suits' but that's what you get for the location! Lunch and dinner, everything works here. Fantastic wine list.

Our visit to Boisdale of Canary Wharf Oyster Bar & Grill was very pleasant. We had drinks at the bar and managed to get a free sample of their burgers which were delicious. We took full advantage of the 50% offer, and had the squid, scotch eggs and spicy broad beans for starter all delicious. We had whole lobster and my friend had the crab the freshness of the latter was in question. Overall the service could be tighter, side dishes arrived late, but they rectified quickly and were friendly.

The food was amazing, we ordered the fruits de mer platter which is normally £70 for two, but with the top table offer it made it much more affordable.

The dish was oysters, king prawns, mussels, clams and to top it all an amazing crab. You had to get your hands quite dirty, but it was well worth it as the food was great.

The service was also really good, the waiter made the recommendation for the dish that we had and was great at answering our questions. I would thoroughly recommend it!

Once again good value although we were the only people in the restaurant (2:30pm start), so there wasn't any atmosphere.

Attentive service and good food
