About Bombay Dine

Battersea’s Lavender Hill has many restaurants to its name but the simple, modern Indian Bombay Dine appears to be one of its most popular right now. Located just about half way up the meandering hill, a short walk from Clapham Junction and within easy reach of the Common, Bombay Dine is as good as it is convenient, providing affordable Indian restaurant favourites ranging from good old fashioned curries to the more creative offerings of the kitchen team, blending the authenticity of the Subcontinent’s regional recipes with a modern approach to the blending of flavours and textures. Numerous vegetarian offerings ensure that all needs are taken care of while dishes range from the mildly spiced to the seriously hot, chilli and spices used to enhance rather than disguise Bombay Dine’s skilled cookery. Comfortable, clean and modern, Bombay Dine’s restaurant space is ideal for relaxed gatherings, from family dinners to grabbing a quick bite with friends, and you’ll find service to be both efficient and polite.

Had a lovely meal at Bombay Dine in Clapham Junction, meal for 2 and a bottle of wine for under £50. Great value for money and friendly service.

Booked a table for two at Bombay Dine, Lavender Hill, London. We had to ask for all the sauces for the poppadoms which I expect to come with them automatically. However, the lamb kebab to start was amazing. The curries were good but not exceptional. The staff were friendly. I didn't hate it but I probably will not go back.

good food but service and atmosphere weren't great

Lovely food - not greasy or heavy- just perfectly balanced indian food with polite and attentive service.

Just be clear that the deal is dependant on ALL parties having a starter, a main and either a naan or rice. Meals were ok - fresh tasting but a bit lacking. Nothing stunning but an ok local. Good service though.

We had a good meal at Bombay Dine in London SW11. The prices were brilliant especially with the 50% off TT deal. Starters were particularly tasty, wished the food was spicier. Good Service.

Excellent service, excellent food. One of the best Indian meals I've ever had. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place. It was a bit quiet but I've no idea why - it should be packed!

Bombay Dine one of the best Indian Restaurant in the area everything is perfect we just loving it and could not think about any others when we are hunger about Indian. Highly Recommend .

Great value for money if when there's not a deal on. Would come back if was looking for an indian in this area

One of the best Indian around the area. Everything looks and taste fresh could not fault in anything. Very good food and service. One of the must go place if you really looking for real Indian curry house. Highly recommended.

Without any doubt Bombay Dine is the best Indian in the area. Went there with my friends for relaxed Sunday night impressed as usual.highly recommended.

Really good service and food. We recommend it and we will come back again soon!

OK Indian restaurant there are alot better ones in the area I would not rush back here. Mixed veg starter was not great but the mains were nice. No little extras at the end like you get in most Indian restaurants.

Bombay Dine on Lavedaer Hill was a lovely place for a relaxed meal with a friend. The service was friendly and efficient. All the ingredients seemed really fresh. A good choice for vegetarians.

Great food, great service, great location, what more could you ask for! Would definitely go there again.

Everything is perfect simply the best Indian in Clapham area. Must go, highly recommended.

Everything superb, enjoyed the night thoroughly had Murgh Hara, Palak , Rice and glass of wine. Perfect will see you very soon.

Just moved in the area and looking for Indian around found Bombay Dine just nearby. It is a real gem very good quality foods, everything tasted fresh with right amount if spice, not oily and greasy polite and caring service. It is my fav now will back soon. Highly recommended.

I dined here last night.

I have to say I find it hard to agree with the reviews posted previously.

The food was bland and not tasty in any way at all. I think the same sauce was used for every dish so every dish virtually tasted the same.

The starters were overcooked and I imagine re-heated and not cooked fresh at all.

The wine was excellent and the staff were very good. I would like nothing more to give a positive review but in this instance I cannot do that.

Lovely food, very good ambience, good value for money even without the TT offer. Best Murgh Jalfrezy and peshwari naan I ever tasted. Highly recommended.
