About Filini Restaurant

The award-winning Filini is part of the striking Radisson Blu Hotel, towering above the River Mersey in the city’s business district. At weekends, it gets especially busy with young local professionals living in the surrounding new apartments. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it’s an airy, modern, space that makes attractive use of glossy wood, glass and modern art. Generally thought of as excellent, the food is Italian with a Sardinian bent, with fine starters including crab and spaghetti in a light Soave cream sauce, followed by such accomplished mains as fillet of beef with Speck, Pecorino and truffle sauce, and slow-braised veal with white beans and creamed polenta. For the very hungry, there’s pizza and gutsy desserts. Excellent value lunch for £11.95.

Had a delightful meal at the Filini Restaurant, Liverpool last night. The staff were attentive and polite and the meals were excellent. The restaurant was quiet and intimate and we had the choice of either sitting in a booth or on a table near the window with excellent views. The tempura vegetables was a great dish and all in all an enjoyable experience.

Food was lovely, really great atmosphere and the rapid lunch is brilliantly priced and really quick, would definately return to Fillini, Liverpool

My experience at fillini at the Raddisson blu in Liverpool was very enjoyable the staff were very polite and the service was very good. The surroundings and ambience all made to the occasion.

Filini in Liverpool - service could have been better which they acknowledged with free coffees and expected better food for the money. It was good but not great

Fillini restaurant at the Radission Blu restaurant in Liverpool was a lovely restaurant, great food and service.

As we were staying in the Radisson the Filini sounded like a good choice, and the food and facilities did not disappoint! After a little confusion (and an inability to provide us with steamed potatoes) the food that did come out to us was well prepared and presented. The service wasn't intrusive, however the servers did forget to bring cutlery for our main course and needed to be asked for a finger bowl for the prawns. Otherwise, a reasonably priced Italian menu.

Filini continues to provide arguably the best quality Italian food and wine in Liverpool's central business district. It isn't the cheapest, especially in the wines, but its setting in the swish Radisson Hotel doesn't suggest otherwise. There are regular dining offers which are attractive, and highlights include the selection of in-house breads, fish and seafood dishes and sweets. Exemplary service from alert and cosmopolitan staff.

Great food, had the sea bass which was very nice although a little salty.

Excellent service, good food at a fair price , would book again

Filini continues to provide a reliable and authentically Italian dining experience in a city-centre Liverpool hotel (the Radisson). Good cold and hot antipasti and primi (I had a nice pea risotto), and all mains below £20 with good variety. Portions just about right but may need side-dishes (excellent rosemary roast potatoes). Mixed fried seafood (frito misto) contained superb king prawns - delicious! Sweets above average too. Wine list not cheap but good quality - would recommend Sicilian rosé.

my partner and me really enjoyed the meal,we had a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine.this all come to under £90.the food was really nice and the service was spot on.i would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Filini Restaurant, Liverpool. Italian style similar to ASK. There was a lack of atmosphere in the restaurant, obvious that it is part of a hotel. The food was fair although the menu was simple, hope you like rocket. It was served almost too quickly. Desert was very good and the best part of the meal. Staff were friendly. Check you bill as I had an extra meal and extra bottle of wine on it, then when they corrected it the service charge still reflected 10% of the original amount. Average overall.

Atmosphere was very nice, food was tasty and service good. Will be returning!

Filini at the Radisson Liverpool is a lovely venue. The atmosphere is nice and the decor tasteful. The staff are friendly and service was fine, though when my bill came the discount had not been applied so I had to have it re-done. I've eatne here several times and the food used to be excellent - now it is still good, though not as good as before. However, the bread, balsmaic and oil whilst waiting are some of the best I've had - fresh bread still warm.

Good range of options available on a la carte menu. Quality of food was good but service could have been a little better especially considering the dining room was not particularly busy.

filini restaurant, radisson sas hotel, liverpool the food was excellent, staff very friendly, helpful.although not very busy there was a nice atmosphere. we will definitely make a return visit and would recommend it to everyone.

Somewhat disappointing. Filini has a newcomer award for 2005, this is very much a hotel restaurant not a restaurant within a hotel. The food was well cooked, and portions were ok too, however the standard was an ok hotel standard but not restaurant quality which at a bill of £90 for 2 (2 courses)- your money could be better spent in somewhere else. Service mixed - attentive upon ordering, but we gave up waiting for chatting staff (we wanted drinks) and opted to collect the bill ourselves

Average price for a main course with a glass of wine. The food at Filini restaurant is generally good, no complaints on quality or portions. Nice quiet restaurant in the business area of central liverpool, not busy at all. I would recommend it to others!

Ivana our waitress was great & made us feel very comfortable. The food was just Ok my starter was straight from the fridge and the tomatoes were very cold. We both had lamb it tasted good but was close to being cold. The vegtables were £3.50 for a small serving and rather dissapointing. Very uniform sized mushrooms looked tinned. Nice place but could be better.

When my boyfriend and I dined at Filini restaurant, we did not really know what to expect as we walked through the Radisson Hotel doors. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our booth, even though it was initially quiet, the music and ambience were perfect. The food was delicious, and the wine very tasty!! We used the 2 for 1 offer and our 3 course meal with drinks came to just under £40. I could not fault this restaurant in any way, and would definitely recommend for you to go there.
