Fantastic meal at MC Cafe with perfect service to match. Will be back again.

Food was good. restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I had the Skate which was very tasty .. although there was rather a lot of butter covering the fish and all the veg... ok if you're not worried about the calories.

I dined at the MC Cafe Bar and Grill when I was travelling to Manchester for work. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was of decent quality. Unfortunately, I arrived too late for the lunch menu and too early for the dinner menu, but there was a reasonable selection of food (mainly snacks and smaller meals) to choose from. I would also recommend the venue for drinks with a small group of friends with finger food as an accompaniment.

This was our first visit - we tried it one rainy Sunday after shopping - 3.30pm.(We have eaten in the restaurant previously and loved it). As a result it was very quiet with only another couple eating and a few having cocktails. The menu was limited and perhaps some dishes we ordered we might not have selected on a larger menu - but the food was absolutely super. We could only manage a starter and main course - no more room. Risotto was superb. Shame not more busy - it didn't spoil our visit

Good food

A lovely meal at MC Bar & Grill in Manchester. Excellent food and splendid service.

MC Cafe Bar & Grill, ABode Hotel Manchester: Couldn't fault the decor, ambience and service. Good quality food, although steak was more rare than medium. The menu is limited, however, and the prices somewhat over-inflated. Starters and desserts are particularly expensive, given the meagre portion sizes.

food was excellant just took a long time to order

Breakfast at MC Cafe bar and grill, manchester.Great breakfast help yourself from the continental buffet, plus full english. Didn't like the sausages they were to spicy, cooked tomatoe did not taste to good. Expensive for what it was.

We dined at the MC Cafe Bar & Grill Manchester, good selection of meals. Although they have discontued the Mixed Grill that I had had on a previous visit. As it was lunch my husband had the chicken burger, which looked nice and he liked the chips. I had salmon en crout, but did not like the spinich it came with, the salmon was well cooked, it was accompanied by seasonal vegitables and new potatoes. Sevice on the slow side in fact we waited nearly an hour for our meal. But they were very busy.

Dined from the lunch menu on Saturday with two friends. The food was as expected at this type of grill restaurant however the service (front of house and waiter) was rather amateurish bordering on the chaotic, e.g. did not provide a menu for all diners, did not have offer sauces to accompany a roast meal and finally the final bill was missing our meals (which we corrected)!

Our visit to MC Bar and Grill was most enjoyable. The food was delightful and the service excellent.

We went to the MC Cafe Bar and Grill in Manchester for the first time earlier this month and opted for their Grazing Lunch menu (3 or 4 'courses') with a different wine to compliment each dish. We were placed in their stylish basement fine dining restaurant. The food, wine and service were all fantastic. The best dining experience we've had in many many years. The olive oil cake with pistachios was 'to die for'. 4 courses with wine for £30 was excellent value.

We had a great meal at MC cafe bar and grill at Abode Manchester. Every course was well cooked and presented. Superb service.Highly recommended - relexed and atmospheric.

I love the restaurant very much. The services was really good and the waitress always gave us a big smile. The price was slightly cheaper than MC Restaurant but the food are fantastic. My friend ordered a Tuesday Steak Night set and he totally love it. All in all, it's a great place to hang out for a dinner and is worth the money.

MC Cafe Bar and Grill proved an excellent venue. Superb food and marvellous service. Many thanks.

Entered the restaurant and was told we had no booking, this was eventually corrected (without apology) Menus were handed to us with no explanation of the specials etc. Partner ordered steak to be told it could only be cooked 1 way due to its size. Staff were unattentive throughout....

Great place, and excellent food all round. They had a Tuesday night steak for £18.95 with a drink which we took advantage of, as the steak alone is normally well over £20. Our only criticism was that the service was slow at times, and it resulted in the bread that we had ordered while we were waiting for starters came about 20 seconds before the starters and the desserts took 15-20 minutes to arrive.

MC Cafe Bar & Grill Food and service excellent, drinks a little on the expensive side, you expect to pay more in these places.Prefer the MC Cafe bar & Grill to Michael Caines Fine Dining down stairs

We turned up a little early, but it proved to be no problem. We were shown to a table and then given lots of attention from the waiting staff. We had the meat platter to share (between 3), which was good, nice variety of stuff and a great start to the evning. All three of us ordered steaks, all were cooked to order, and went down very well as they tasted great. Washed down with some fantastic champagne, that wasnt too pricey, all in all a great place to go and eat with friends.
