About Millbank Spice

Modern design meets traditional Indian virtues and the result is a marvellous marriage of the two. This smart restaurant is very contemporary, kitted out in spicy orange and regal purple with lovely decor all around. The dishes have been slightly modernised, but only in the sense that we're all eating more heathily these days, so fat content has been lowered and fewer artificial colourings are in use. The food is delightful, spicy and fresh and winning. In fact, you will probably find yourself surrounded by purring regulars on your first visit. Dishes include the classics you love, like lamb tikka, samosa, onion bhajia, tandoori specialities, special duck dishes, classic chicken tikka masala, featherlight naan and all the trad curries. Baltis are available if you ask nicely. The service is warm and helpful and the entire experience very nice indeed.

Although I personally couldn't make it, my friends said it was a fantastic meal.

Good food, ambience and service

Food was good and the ambiance great. It was sometimes a little difficult to get the attention of the waiters but they were efficient and remembered, most, of our order without writing it down!

I've not eaten at the Millbank Spice before, when I'm next in the area I'll definately return, great service, great food and very clean.

Went to Millbank Spice with 3 work contacts. popadoms, starters, mains and a couple of large bottles of Cobra each. Starters on the small side - everyithing else was good. I've been half a dozen times now: it's never let me down.

I booked Millbank Spice for a team lunch. The service was good (if somewhat surly at times) and the food came out quickly and correctly. The food was delicious - so much so that we took the leftovers (and there were many) back to the office for some of our team that could not make it. We would use again.

This is my first time at Millbank Spice, however my 2 colleagues are regulars there and highly recommended it. Overall I was happy with the whole package. I didn;t pick a great dish and much preferred to eat my colleagues food. Service with a smile - but then again, we went on a friday lunchtime and there were only 2 other tables in use there. Would go again.

Good value

I booked Millbank Spice for Thursday lunchtime leaving do. There was a big group of us and numbers changed at the last minute. The staff at Millbank Spice handled this very efficiently. The food was delicious and the service was really quick. No complaints!

A very enjoyable meal as always.

Very enjoyable as always.

Have been to Millbank Spice many times over the years, and it is always a pleasure to return. The curries are delicious, the beers cold and the sides such as naans and saags excellent. My only negative point on last night's visit would be that they normally bring poppadoms at the start of the meal, which they overlooked last night. Will return, and would recommend. Best curry in the area.

Millbank Spice (closest to Pimlico tube) is a rather up-market curry - reflected by the tidy decor, clean environment, local resident clientele and the prices. The food was great, service ok (we were a party of 6 arriving at 8.45pm - quite a busy time for them) - only downer was that the beers were around £5 each and each curry main dish approaching £10.

Millbank Spice, London The food and service was good but a waiter walking past let out a huge belch without so much as an apology.

I went for a group meal to Millbank Spice in Pimlico the other day and enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food was typical Indian cuisine and tasty although there wasn't an enormous choice.

Lovely curry, warm restaurant. Staff weren't overly friendly but the food made up for it

Our visit to Millbank Spice was good.Starter of Salmon Tikka particularly good but Onion Bhaji was very dry & dissapointng.Overall very good meal & will return.
