About PizzaMetroPizza

Situated in Battersea Rise, PizzaMetroPizza is a family restaurant with an interesting claim to fame. The sister of the first authentic Neapolitan pizzeria opened in London’s Battersea, the small PizzaMetroPizza chain, as it is now, also lays claim to being the very first to offer the incredible metre long pizza, a concept now copied all over the capital. But PizzaMetroPizza doesn’t rest on this one gimmick. Instead, the team behind this restaurant strive to continue providing some of the most authentic Italian pizza around in a warm, welcoming dining room with plenty of character and charm. The kitchen populated by chefs straight from Italy, PizzaMetroPizza’s menu relies on excellent ingredients, with 95% of the food – including doughs, breads and sausages – prepared freshly in house every day. All Italian ingredients go in to the pizzas, which are then cooked in a wood fired oven to ensure the most authentic flavour you’re likely to come across.

Lovely homemade style pizza, great service at pizzametropizza and good prices.

Great Pizza!!

The food was nice but the service was a bit chaotic. The people we were dining with were regulars and assured us it's not normally that bad. On several occasions we were brought other tables food, the starters didn't arrive at the same time and it took three attempts to get the bill. It wasn't so much our waiter, but the other support staff also serving. The food and atmosphere were good though and the menu is reasonably priced, especially considering the location and portion siz

Great pizza, friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Restaurant was very busy on arrival - waited for 20 minutes before we sat down. Food and wine both excellent though and an enjoyable atmosphere. Service was also friendly and efficient once we had sat down! Would recommend.

Great food and setting :)

Great food at PizzaMetroPizza: real Italian food served by cheerful waiters with a contagious smile! Food just great, although not cheap. One of the best pizzeria in London!

On a Friday night, the boisterous PizzaMetroPizza in Battersea was heaving. Half full with Italians, you would be foolish to expect a quiet, intimate atmosphere. But this is part of the experience. I am half Italian, and know the country and its food well. Both my friend and I ordered pasta dishes that were completely delicious; fresh seafood and tasty sauces. Generous servings too. Really polite staff and a decent speed of service. I am desperate now to go back and try the pizzas!

Pizza metro pizza -delicious and very authentic!

As always the food and staff are both amazing! Always so warm and welcoming and the food is divine. Every time I have been in here it is packed with more customers waiting to come in - booking is a must! Relaxed comforatable atmosphere with a large choice on the menu - will be returning time and time again.

Great atmosphere and food.

Pizza Metro Pizza in Clapham Junction is well worth a visit. The pizzas were great, as promised, though I wouldn't claim it's the best in London (La Porchetta's where it's at!). The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the staff were all very friendly and entertaining. We booked a table for 8pm, but got a call to say we could only book for 7pm or 9pm. This made me a bit apprehensive, as I thought they'd be in a hurry to change tables, but we didn't feel rushed at all.

Great atmosphere, great value...

Great little restaurant, staff really friendly, would visit again

If you are looking for an authentic italian run pizza restaurant in S London then look no further. PizzaMetroPizza serves fabulous pizzas with true italian toppings. My boyfriend lived in Italy for 10 years and so will only eat in a few italian restaurants in London, those that serve true Italian food, and this is one of them. The atmosphere is fun and food brilliant but do remember to book or else you may be disappointed.

Pizza Metro in Clapham Junction is a great night out whether its in a group or a couple. Good food and friendly staff. Perhaps on the expensive side but the atmosphere really makes you feel you could be in a pizzeria in Italy.

PizzaMetroPizza on Battersea Rise always looks busy so thought we'd try it out for a quick bite. Food and service were top notch and the atmosphere is lively with a very authentic feel. Highly recommend.

PizzaMetroPizza was great as always. This is certainly my favourite pizza place in London. Great food and awesome friendly service.

PizzaMetro Clapham London. Food and wine were both good with a good atmosphere but too many people in a small restaurant and too close a proximity. Ths made the whole experience a little uncomforable and detracted from the overall enjoyment. All in all, better than average but no more and not a place for a date or quiet chat.

Absolutely delicious food. I can highly reccomend to all.
