About Rossopomodoro

Kensington Park Road’s Rossopomodoro is perfectly situated to cater to tourists, visitors and locals alike. Part of a well respected chain, Rossopomodoro is a contemporary, attractive take on the neighbourhood Neapolitan restaurant with good food, friendly service and more than pleasant surroundings. With hot red hints the décor is stylish, clean and modern while the buzz from couples, groups of friends and office workers gives the dining room a welcoming vibe. The wood fired pizzas are straight from original Neapolitan recipes, cooked and served fresh with simple flavour combinations which allow the ingredients, imported fresh from Italy, to speak for themselves. In a Notting Hill flooded with overcomplicated eateries and pretentious menus, Rossopomodoro is a breath of fresh air

Went to Rossopomodoro in Notting Hill on Friday with a large group (11 of us). Had to wait for about 40 minutes after ordering to get our mains, but considering the time of the evening, 9pm, and the size of our group it wasn't too bad. We were very pleased with our pizzas. A few ordered risotto which was a bit watery but still nice. Nice wine, very good priced.

Not speedy service while the restaurant get more customers. Even the pizzas are ready, waiters are not that quick. We could see how they work from upstairs closely!

Rossopomodoro good food but small portions

Nice pizza- great pizza base. maybe a little on the expensive side for the type of restaurant it is. Very friendly staff

I took 6 people to eat at Rossopomodoro last Sunday early evening, it was a pleasant experience. Pizzas very good and authentic, would recommend. However the pasta dish I chose was disappointing. Quid ink pasta with seafood, cherry toms etc. The 1st few mouthfuls were good, but soon it became rather bland. All servings generous, staff warm and very helpful and friendly. Cocktail of the day very good.

Very good, authentic Italian food with very friendly service! We have been there a lot of times and will keep going.

You can read my previous reviews for this restaurant - enough said for a returning customer! Always recommended for an value-for-money good night out!

Party of 12 on a Saturday night (we are 25-35 yr olds). Prices good (10 pound pizza). Cheapest wine was tasty (15 to 18 pounds depending on colour). Staff friendly. Pizza good. Felt authentically Italian, which was nice. Porcini pasta unfortunately no better than I would cook at home due to the sauce. Desserts nice. Overall a nice evening out that didn't break the bank - I would definitely go again but maybe not for pasta!

Enjoyed our meal at Rossopomodro in Kensington Park Road

Good pizza place

Great, for casual, everyday Italian. Food was superb!! The pizza was made almost in front of you! Delicious!! Staff very friendly, clean, and feel good sort of ambience. Good place for all ages, and for kids too!! Prices I thought were a little steep, but then again it was only marginal. On the whole I would recommend Rossopomodoro, also as its in such a lovely, area. If the weather's nice you can alfresco dine.

Nice 2009 Sicily Red Wine. Nice Atmosphere. Food Not Bad though not excellent. Clean Washrooms. Excellent service.

Cheap and cherrful. Good, fresh food and friendly staff. I would reccomend this place if you fancy a low key dinner with friends.

Always good!! Amazing pizza and high quality ingredients!

I went to Rossopomodoro in Notting Hill with a couple of friends on a thursday night. The venue was busy but not too crowded, the service was friendly and attentive and the pizzas were lovely. They have a wide range of desserts and the espresso with nutella and whipped cream is a real treat. The spirit at end of the meal was on the house. Recommended.

I have been at Rossompomodoro in notting Hill on a friday night. The food was up to italian's standards and the service was nice and attentive. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful tasty Italian food. Loved it! However, there was no ambience, but this could be down to us piciking a mid-week evening where most of the tables were empty. Another thing was the waiter being a little too eager to take orders and make us feel rushed. He meant well though.

Amazing! We had the lunch deal which is really good value for money! The food was excellent and there was lots of it too! They were busy but service was excellent and our waiter made sure everything was perfect. Would recommend Rosso Pomo to anyone and everyone! The truffle Spaghetti was divine!

Recommended by my Italian friend. Food is good but the red wine from Sicily in particular was spectacularly good. All staffs are extremely friendly - not sure if my Italian friend's involvement counts but any how.

Recommendation from a friend rather than picking a restaurant from the lists of thousands. Great recommendation. Tastiest Calzone pizza I've had in the UK. Great atmosphere, could see the pizza oven and the guys working it from our upstairs table. Selection of Rose wine was limited to 1 bottle(Lacryma christi I think) which was £28, a little more than I'd normally pay for a bottle of wine. Other than that, staff were very attentive, food was fantastic.
