If you like your Italian food as authentic as possible try Rossopomodoro. Located in the heart of Notting Hill this split level eatery is flying the flag for all things Italian. With (astonishingly) even the water used to make the the pizza dough and the coffee shipped over especially. The interior is all about open brick work, with a huge traditional wood burning oven dominating the ground floor. Throughout there’s a vibrant rustic atmosphere, with colourful photos, mosaics, open pipes and a vast wine rack. Even the chefs are trained in Naples. There is a great choice of pizza and pasta, plus plenty of gourmet salads on offer. This is the perfect place to bring a homesick Italian, and if the pizza we tried is anything to go by, one to definitely revisit.
