we go to this restairant nearly every month, nice fab

Great food, great night! I went with work colleagues during an exhibition at the NEC. Definitely recommended

San Carlo Birmingham is a very nice restaurant, the food was excellent and the service too. We arrived later than we should (M6) for a per football meal but they really looked after us regarding getting our food out. Just found the drinks abit pricey, but will go again sometime.

As always we had an excellent meal. We like steak well done and although a lot of restaurants say they cannot garantee steak will be tender done this way San Carlo never fail. I would have like my Bailey's coffe to be hotter in temperature and I wish note was taken when selecting a certain table are my only complaint. We will however continue to return to our favourite restaurant in Birmingham.

Excellent menu.however perhaps could be slimmed down as amount of choices make selection difficult.

Couldn't fault food, well presented, decent sized portion and tasty.

Bill within toptable guidlines, so no nasty surprises, will be a returning guests for sure.

After hearing reviews that the food is fantastic, and service is poor, I was surprised that it was actually the other way around for us! The food was average (maybe we caught them on a bad day?) but for £27.00 per head, I expect a bit more than average. Lovely setting, big menu, big portions, average food

Thoroughly excellent!

San Carlo Birmingham - No reasons to complain but no reasons to shout from the rooftops either. Competent, attentive, good food, slightly expensive, stuck in a corner in the basement...

Good food and service. Menu is very big - too much choice!

Oh dear, we were greeted at the door at 12 noon when the door was opened and promplty shut in our face! The gentleman who opened up shut the door in my colleagues face and walked off. We were shown to our table which was fine. We then waited at least 20 mins and had to ask someone to take our order. The food was excellent. On the way out we waited for the drinks waiter to walk up the stairs and he didn't even acknowledge us or thanks us. Great food, terrible service and manners.

San Carlo, Birmingham: wonderful Italian cuisine from a comprehensive menu combined with a fantastic atmosphere and a superb team to ensure unrivalled service. The wine selection was quintessentially Italian and the dessert menu served to cleanse the palate perfectly. The whole experience from start to finish was superb and we will be visiting again very soon!!

San Carlo, Birmingham - great food

fantastic dinner!best remmondation-- Scallops!!

A group of us went to San Carlos located Temple St, Bham. Great food, great location. We ordered a variety of dishes and in my opinion best italian in birmingham!! Our booking was at 7pm and by 8pm the restaurant was full.. which is a good sign. Will be booking again very soon.

San Carlo, Birmingham - usual moody/curt waiters but you can't fault the food

The food is nice, but not as amazing as some people make this restaurant out to be. As with all other visits here I found the staff to be extremely rude and still lacking in English. Who would that asking if they have decaf tea would turn into such a drama. I don't think I'll be going back for a while. Children running round a restaurant such as this one doesn't make it a pleasurable atmosphere.

San Carlo, Temple Street, Birmingham,Really good food , service and atmosphere. Great for after work dinner or any weekend too.

Our first visit to San Carlo's in Birmingham was on Saturday lunch time. We arrived nearly an hour early but although it was very busy they managed to fit us in. The food was excellent, one of the best Italian restaurants we have been to. The service was very good, but we had a long wait to order desserts. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Excellent food and reasonable price.

Excellent. San Carlo in Birmingham is upmaket dining at a fair price.

Good service and fantastic food. 10 out of 10
