About Sitaaray

Located on London’s Drury Lane, in the city’s famous Theatreland and a thirty second stroll from the Freemasons Hall, the spacious and atmospheric Sitaaray restaurant combines India’s two most famous exports – cinema and food. Both the ground and mezzanine levels of the restaurant are theatrically decorated, with smouldering deep red walls strewn with eclectic and interesting Bollywood memorabilia, reflecting the intriguing and artistic history of Hindu filmmaking. But while you might be surrounded by the faces of Indian cinema legend during your time at Sitaaray, it’s undoubtedly the food that’s the star here. While at lunchtime you’ll enjoy well priced box office smashes from a menu of traditional favourites, during the evening diners are treated to something really special – an all you can eat menu stuffed full of not only the old crowd pleasers but a good array of Indian street food, kebabs and regional curries, all at a set price.

Sitaaray, Drury Lane. Service a bit slow to start with, then presented with the largest number of kebabs Ive had in a while. Some were tastier than others, but a bit upset I was too full to finish the main - the chicken tasted lovely, as did the nan - but couldnt finish it. It was unlimited too, so a very good deal for someone with a big appetite!! Great cheesy Indian decor too!

The offer for unlimited kebabs and curries is truly good value for money. I took my US colleagues and they agree that it was the best Indian cuisine that they had ever tasted. Since our visit to Sitaaray a week ago they are still discussing the first course which was a wonderful fillet of fish.

Its my 5th visit and I plan to continue dining chez Sitaaray

Sitaaray - London

Really annoying you can't ring the restaurant to answer a simple enquiry, you have to email which went ignored. Have booked this restaurant many times and we really like it but they were very busy and service was extremely poor. Food is normally excellent but was totally disappointed this time. The manager was very attentive as he recognised that fact we were regular customers.

Visited Sitaaray on Drury Lane for a pre-theatre meal. We both had the £18 unlimited kebabs and curries and were delighted with the food. Nine different kebabs/starters - and we liked all of them. Then three curry dishes, of which we especially liked the dhal. The staff was very friendly and helpful also. Recommended, tasty and interesting - and we'll send some of our veggie friends as there is a vegetarian option with an impressive 12 dishes also.

The food at Sitaaray, just off London's Covent Garden, is extremely good. We had the pre-theatre dinner, including several kebab starters and an excellent curry combination as the second course. The decor, a homage to Bollywood, is fun and the service reasonably attentive. My main reservation was that the two nice ladies next to us - also eating before the theatre - were not told of this menu, and spent twice as much on a huge meal they couldn't finish.

Third time visit, love the menu and would advise to starve all day before reaching because you will leave unable to walk due to the succulent food presented to you AND the option to reorder what you liked continually for free. Took my boyfriend who made the most of the offer and found it a real treat

Only downside and it didn't just occur to me but fellow diners...when asking for the bill they neglected to add the toptable offer which was fairly awkward when asking them to sort this out!!!!!

At first the appearance of the restaurant is that of a you go in you are greeted by pleasant staff. The starters were fantastic but the mains were disappointing...everything tasted similar! However...overall a lovely evening was spent there. The car parking is free for two hours but I was not informed which NCP car park to park in therefore spent more than the meal on the parking! Not sure if another visit will happen anytime soon.

Excellent chicken tikka, but too much food to enjoy properly. The curries are better in other places.

Had the 12 courses, they should have been smaller as we were full half way through n therefore struggled with the curry

A very pleasant evening--the food was good and plentiful, the service was a bit slow but didn't ruin the meal, and the decor was fun.

Sitaaray was moderately busy on a weeknight; lots of food for the unlimited curry & kebabs menu. Waiting staff were polite and prompt and did not get upset despite half the group failing to turn up. Go if you like large quantities of food and a bollywood vibe but not the place to go if you want really good quality food.

always more than you can eat, great value!

Sitaaray Holborn is always a good choice. The food is amazing. The unlimited kebabs come in tapas style bites which means you get to try a little of everything and when you find what you like, eat as much as you like! but that can mean you are too full for the curries or desserts at the end. When it is quiet, the service is very attentive - we had a limited time to get to our show and on mentioning this the bill was brought to us unprompted just when we needed it. Will definitely return!

The unlimited deal is good but the drinks seem to be slightly overpriced. The starters offered in unlimited meal are pretty good and do not leave scope for eating the main course.

I have been here five time (including yesterday) and two dishes - 'amritsari fish kebab' n 'dal-maakhani' have always been the best :) Although I shall admit that the seating arrangement (for 6 people) upstairs wasn't the best and the service was below average. All in all good food but after visiting so many times I think the overall rating is going down :(

P.S: Please do not go for 'Awara' cocktail as it is way to sweet.

Good food and great service as always. Can't go wrong at this place. Would always recommend!!

We went Sitaaray as it was close to the theatre we were going to. The £22 unlimited meal deal was great value and we were struggling to cope with the amount of good they were bringing out. As we were running late we requested if our final and main course could be held for us. They were more than happy and we collected it after show. Nice place, nice food, would go again.

Regular at sitaaray in drury lane Holborn. food is always good and the starters seem to be offer more variety then usual. buffet is good value and atmosphere is decent with indian songs on in background

Lovely dinner at Sitaaray - the food is devine. Good, attentive service, although we were sat downstairs where it was quite bright, so doesn't really make for a romantic vibe. I was full after the kebabs, so didn't do the curries justice at all. Tender, tasty meat - so I did end up overeating. Would return, for a low-key dinner.

One of the best places to dine on special occasions. Enjoyed the food and the place yesterday.
