About The Forge

The Forge restaurant in London’s Covent Garden is the brainchild of Robert Siegler, owner of local favourite Le Deuxième, so you can anticipate great things. Finding the slightly hidden entrance of The Forge will make you feel like a London insider. Once in the door, you’ll find elegance in bucketloads, from the intimate bar to the exposed brickwork and wide windows of the main dining area that give a sophisticated, relaxed feel. The modern European menu is as elegant as the space and manages to hit the mark with gorgeous flavours and imagination.

What a great resto, we've been three or four times now and we keep going back introducing more friends along the way. We are never disappointed with the great food and excellent service.

Returned to The Forge, near Covent Garden with my partner. Took advantage of the special 3 course offer and enjoyed a very good value evening. Food is good quality and the staff cater well for the wheat and lactose intolerant, such as my partner. The only quibble, partially a consequence of the tables being close together, was that the noise factor from two large tables was excessive. Things improved after one table departed!

Had 3 courses and a Kir Royale for £29.50 at The Forge in Covent Garden. Lively atmosphere and lovely venue. Food slightly disappointing as a bit basic and not in keeping with the surroundings. Extensive and confusing wine list.

The whole experience at The Forge was excellent, the staff were attentive but not intrusive, The food was excellent, the portion size almost being too large, good selection of wine. Will return!

Got the TT deal which was excellent. Food was very good and generous portions.

Had the set pre theatre menu. Nice and easy. Not spectacular but good value.

Great value and excellant food

A very nice meal as always, nice to see it busy.

very nice!

The Forge was a real find! It has a really intimate and romantic feel to it so would definitely recommend as a date restaurant. The food was delicious, wine wonderful and with excellent service. It is on the pricier side but worth it for a special occasion.

The forge in covent garden is a fantastic choice for a special occasions. We went there yesterday for lunch for our daughters 21st, there were 10 of us aged between 21 and 64 and we all felt a perfect choice. Food, wine and service were all very good :)

First visit to the Forge but would certainly return and recommend. Food, service and ambience were all a pleasure. Daughter was delighted with prawn starter as I was with the crispy pork salad, delicious. We both had steaks which were most enjoyable as were the deserts which we shared although I forget what they were called! TT deal was just right.

Lovely evening, main of haddock tempura was crispy and light, fish cake was divine. Crème brulee with a perfectly crisp shell. Service was attentive. All round another very enjoyable evening spent at The Forge - have been before and will most defiantly be going again. Thanks!

The most surprising thing at the Forge in covent garden was the portion's size....massive. Very generous, and tasty food, nicely presented. a good but expensive wine list.

The Forge, Covent Garden. This was a lovely meal, however, here's an example where the diner get's it wrong and an earlier helpful tip from Maitre d' would have made it a perfect meal. We had a bottle of champagne to begin and ordered a Chateaubriand with an expensive red to follow (a celebration meal). However, by the time we had consumed the champagne and finally got around to the Chateaubriand the wonderful dish had obviously been sitting around for awhile. Cheese - oh, dear!

good food, very friendly service

We had a really lovely meal at the Forge, Garrick St,Covent Garden. Lovely service, great value for great food.

The Forge, London. Very good service, good food and ambiance. The temperature was far too warm as the numbers in the restaurant grew. Good value for money.

The Forge was unknown to me until I booked on TT. The staff were fantastic, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere and very pleasant environment. We were the last to leave after having a delicious meal. Made for a good birthday celebration!

The Forge - very big entree sizes and great taste! Mains were also very good. Dessert was extremely rushed and we had to ask for it 5 times - we did inform them we needed to leave the restuarant by 7.10pm to make our show, and had already settled the bill (dessert included) so didn't want to just walk out, but didn't end up leaving til 7.25pm feeling very rushed and frazzled.
