About The Harwood Arms

The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment.
This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.
Making this happen in the kitchen is a team of highly skilled passionate chefs staying true to the Michelin-Starred legacy Stephen Williams left behind.

Excellent food presented delightfully and very good value, Lovely shabby chic decor and friendly efficient staff. Overall a lovely experience!

The food was so tasty. This is my 2nd of this month and I will be going again :0)))))

This pub has a Michelin star for a reason. It's my third visit (the first and third being for meals, the second for bar snacks only) and every time the food has been sensational. It's still the best food I've eaten anywhere, home or abroad, including the other two Michelin-starred establishments I've been to. We arrived at the end of the lunch sitting but staff were still attentive and enthusiastic about the specials board which didn't disappoint. The portions whilst not generous were beautifully presented, especially the starter of deep fried gurnard and the pudding of baked lavender custard. We would definitely recommend and we'll be going back soon.

At first glance the Harwood Arms is no different to any other over-priced gastropub in South West London - screaming children, braying parents, and a sea of Boden. Service is friendly but haphazard - good thing we weren't in a hurry. But the food is definitely a cut above. Top tip: warm venison scotch eggs from the blackboard menu - to die for! Who cares that we were still waiting for our beers after the appetisers were finished!

Harwood Arms - great meal.

Tried Harrow Arms in Fulham for lunch and would highly recommend it. Food was delicious, innovative with generous portions. Service was attentive.

Harwood Arms Fulham - lunch withe friends. Superb as usual not a crumb left. We had the set lunch menu which was great value. Presentation of food beautiful.

The food and service was excellent. I will be back :0)))

Were nicely impressed, will return

Superb - great space/atmosphere, excellent service, everything a top gastropub should be. The beer battered gournay started was the best batter I've ever had, and we both loved the seasonal vegetables used throughout. Reasonably priced too - £100 for two people/2 courses including a nice wine and service was good value - less expensive than many of the dross restaurants in Brompton/Chelsea area. Tip: be sure to book ahead (we'd always forget, ir's usually full in evenings). Loved it.

Excellent specials, fantastic game and nice wine to wash it down with a casual warm atmosphere.

Staff were friendly although took a very long time to get served. Great starters and main courses. Dessert of Eton Mess was a little disappointing. Good ambience. Great wine list.

Another great evening at the Harwood. All three of us had different dishes all cooked and presented with style. Relaxed surroundings and attentive staff. Will be back agin soon I hope!

Excellent food and great ambience. Will definitely be returning.

Had a great meal at The Harwood Arms. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions we had about the menu. Nice atmosphere, not too loud and busy.

As good as expected. Lovely all round.

Delicious meal; service was a little slow but it was friendly and helpful. The scotch eggs as amazing as everyone says they are. The shared venison starter was also delicious and fantastic value for money.

Harwood Arms, Fulham

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Slightly slow on the service and portions are mini. Taste of very high standard though.

Excellent as usual. Simply divine featherblade beef which melted in your mouth, and the tenderest venison which was exceptional.. Superb lunch.
