About Vito's

A large corner building marked by large burgundy awnings, Italian bar and restaurant La Cucina is a Northcote Road landmark – indeed you’ll often hear uttered locally ‘I’ll meet you at La Cucina. But the popularity of this restaurant isn’t just down to being easy to find, of course not, La Cucina is so well loved by Wandsworth locals for numerous reasons, not least the laid back, friendly atmosphere and friendly service from all Italian wait staff. The relaxing vibe is helped along by the comfortably appointed dining room with its neutral décor, its option of formal table or bar stool perching. Traditional and credible Italian food is the mainstay of the La Cucina's menu, which is chock-full of classic dishes just, as the saying goes, like mamma used to make. Ingredients speak for themselves, freshness and flavour shining through in simple dishes accompanied by good Italian wines and beers.

We had a very good dinner at Vito's on Northcote Road on Saturday night, The restaurant was quiet to begin with (at 8) but filled up by 9. The service was great, the food was really tasty and in good portions, and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend it for a very decent local Italian dinner.

Had never really noticed Vito's on Northcote Road but having a craving for Italian found it via Top Table. Was relatively busy with quite a few large tables. Service was very good and friendly however the food was slighly disappointing. Starters were quite large and good but mains did not live up to this and were fairly plain. Served it's purpose but wouldn't rush back, certainly not on a Saturday night.

Vito's, Wandworth, London...good atmosphere, decent food...will worth another visit

Good food, great selection, friendly staff. Would recommend.

The lobster was amazing as well as the lamb and chicken. Great service with a smile.

I was very impressed with Vito's I had never heard of it before because I live on the other side of London and it definitely didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and as was the service I highly recommend the seafood tagliatelle which had a huge array of fresh seafood in a delicious tomato sauce. I never usually write reviews but Vito's is special and should be visited.

Vito's is always amazing food and last night was no exception. Totally recommend it. Has a set menu $18 for 2 courses and £22 for 3, with no service charge.

amazing as always

Vito's was OK, but just OK. The food was nice enough but certainly not for the prices charged. Having said that, the staff were really friendly so I can't criticise them there.

The fresh pasta and crab meat was amazing. I am a regular customer and will continue to be.

Ideal location, very friendly helpful staff...recommended!!

Vito's, Battersea. This was a lvoely restaurant - on the expensive side but the food was definitely a cut above the average italian and both my boyfriend and our thought our food was delicious. The service was really good as well!

The food was fantastic, the lamb shank special melted in your mouth. Service was always with a smile.

Had a very enjoyable midweek birthday dinner for 9 at Vito's, Northcote road. We phoned to say we would be 30 mins late and they were more than accommodating. Service friendly, no problem with the attendance of my youngest guest of 4 weeks old! Food superb - my lobster linguine was very tasty, lemon sorbet presented in a real lemon and was fantastic. The portions were good and the House wine was very palatable. Not cheap but worth the £40/ head. We were last to leave but did not feel rushed out

Vito's on Northcote Road offers nothing short of a lovely dining experience. If you have the pleasure to be there when Vito is working you're in for a treat. A warm, ambient environment with great staff and even better food. I would return time and time again.

Again, great food and fantastic service.

Monday evening, as you would expect, is not a busy one at restaurants but my boyfriend had a hankering for carpaccio so I booked a table for two at Vito's. This was our first time here and the bar and restaurant were very quiet but looked nice. I ordered king prawns which were tasty and beautifully presented. Our mains, lobster with linguine and beef fillet with pappardelle were large and again very tasty. Lovely authentic Italian from a local Italian.

Great food as always

The food was great. A little pricey for what you got for the boys, They were pleased they ordered starters.

Starters were very good: my partners scallops were perctly cooked and tender and my caprese salad was as it should be ; good sweet tomatoes and creamy mozarello cheese served at perfect temperaure. Mains were very disappointing: my tuna tasted burnt and dry and my boyfriends rack of lamb was also over done and dry. Service was authentic and warm . I will try agai but if there is not an improvment it will be my last visit
