Ashas, Birmingham: Once again another delicious meal and excellent service. I took 6 guests with me 5 of whom had not dined previously at Ashas. One guest simply described Ashas as "Wow" another said "I cannot believe how delicious the food is Ive never tastet a curry like this!" Everyone enjoyed the food from the Fish Amritsari to the Kebab Platter to the mains of a simple Korma to the delicatley spiced Handi Gost Lamb...truly delicious and impeccable service from the polite and efficient Staff

Been a regular visitor and it never disappoints. You do need to make sure they have deducted the 2 for 1 offer from the bill.

Had not been to Ashas for a while but good to see the standards are as high as ever. Highly reccomended.

Good food but bharwan baingan was not the authentic dish. It was more of an aloo baingan.

First time we have been to Asha's in Birmingham. We were greeted by a very pleasant front of house who took our coats and showed us to our table. Our waiter introduced himself and took out drinks order and was very helpful in guding us throiugh the menu. The food was delivered quickly even though the restaurant was quite busy. The food was to die for; fresh flavours, spicy without numbing you face!. Overall a really good evening. Would recommend it to any one likes quality Indian food

Enjoyed an excellent meal at Asha's. Chose only to have main courses but with rice and peshwari naan. Chicken and vegetable jalfrezi were very good and the naan was stuffed full of pistachios, almonds, sultanas and cherries. Staff were very attentive but never intrusive. Overall a very enjoyable experience that we would definitely recommend.

Took a mate that was visiting to Asha's for lunch and was very impressed. The food is incredible value on the Executive Lunch menu, particularly when compared to what you would pay in the evening for the same meal! If anything I think they are over generous with the breads and rice and probably lot of that goes to waste - could easily lose a rice and/or nan....still it was delicious food and service was helpful and friendly.

The food was excellent, service attentive but not overpowering, the seating area was comfortable with a pleasant atmosphere and a conversation could easily be held without being overheard.

Ashas,Birmingham.I took a friend who hadn't dined at Ashas before,I'm on a personal mission to bring Ashas amazing food to everyone! We started with cocktails and I would like to say my Classic Martinis were mixed perfectly,so much so that I had 4 in the space of an hour! However the food was amazing the Fish Amritsari was absolutely delicious and I converted yet another fish hater with this dish.I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb curry which was recommended by Sacchin who is truly the best server!

Excellent as always

Asha's Indian Bar and Restaurant, Birmingham. Food was fantastic. We had the spring lamb leg to start (recommended as a starter for 2). This was amazing, but large enough to eat as a main dish (+sides). Decor attractive and atmosphere very pleasant. However, unfortunately service deteriorated. We waited for over 30 minutes for the bill. When we paid the waitress did not return with £8 change, until we asked for it. Then when she returned she reluctantly gave us only £6 straight into our hands!

Asha's in Birmingham: As always the service and food were great. We eat here quite often but this is the second time in a row where we have been disappointed with the ambience. This time we were also shocked to discover an extra 20% (which was just over £10) added to our bill, that they claimed was VAT. When questioned about this apparently they absorb the VAT in the week so charge menu prices but add the VAT without telling you at weekends. Loud music plus a higher bill means avoid fri-sun!

The food and service were as good as always

Good value.

As always wonderful food, great service at a reasonable price

Excellent food and service

Asha in Birmingham is a gem of a restuarant. Brilliant and different high quality indian food, great service and always a friendly welcome. I am never disappointed with my visit.

Ashas, Birmingham another fantastic evening and once again delicious food and tremendous service provided. The Fish Amritsari my favourite dish at Ashas was simply divine and my friend who hates fish thought it was delicious!

Asha's Bimringham - Great food and great service,

Very good restaurant serving top notch Indian cuisine in an open and chic setting. The food quality is high and flavours abound. Well worth a try. We did somewhat over order and just couldn't do the food justice as we were too full.

Asha’s at Birmingham Excellent food although a little pricey. Service and decor were top notch.

Great meal, good presentation with efficient service. One of the best in Birmingham!

Great food and efficient service. The quality of incredients and sophisticated cooking make this a great venue of indian food in Birmingham

Food is very good, but portions are relatively small for the price you pay. I found the room quite noisy.

We had an unfortunate visit where there was a problem with the kitchens. This limited our choice to the tandoori menu only. However the food was delicious, some of the best I have eaten and the staff were very apologetic about the whole thing. I would be very happy to go again the future to try something of the rest of the menu.

we have been to almost all the restaurants in birmingham but the service at Asha's was really great from the time of greeting till the end. The food was amazing and the best cocktails ever. The server was very friendly and very attentive. The menu choice was extensive but our server helped us in selecting. Will definitely go back there again and will strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants best indian meal and the excellent service. Thanks a lot to all Asha's staff .

Nice restaurant, good service, nice ambience and good food. Happy to go again in future

Great food, great service, be careful if you ask for your food 'desi style, hot' though, it was like eating fire!

This is the second time in a month I have been to Asha's. The quality of the food and service was once again excellent, can't wait till next time.

Have been a few times now and have had consitently good food and service. Our food wasnt as good as our last visit but still enjoyable - the vegi Jalfrezi would have benifited with more sauce but was still tasty. Great vegetarian selection and the 2 for one on main courses is good value.

A quality location with very good food and good service, if not a bit rushed even though far from being full. Its far from your typical brum balti house.

We went to Asha's last night for a family special occasion. We were seated in a booth which was lovely. The standard of the food and service was very very good. It cost about £130 for 4 adults with 2 bottles of wine and a few beers which I thought was very reasonable. The 2 for 1 on mains helped but we will definately return and strongly recomend

Mediocre food, poor service. They even charged us for papadums (£5) and dips (£5) which they said were free!

Ashas Birmingham is a trendy ,smart Indian restaurant ...lively with delicious food Try their cocktails ! The only minus point was the state of the toilets even though it was only 9;15 on a Thursday night when we went in A member of staff should pop in to check paper towels, floor etc

Excellent personalised service, waiting staff was very good and provided good recommendations for the food. Portions were substantial and the large window into the kitchen allowed for viewing of the chefs preparing the food. Have been here few times now and would always recommend this.

Yeah - alright - chicken was done well - good flavour. Not mind-blowing though - see Cinammon Kitchen in London for that df

Once again the food at Ashas Birmingham was delicious. The set menu we chose was extremely good value and provided all the guests something to satisfy there taste buds. The menu provided a selection of veg/non veg options and the Tandoori Paneer was a personal favourite. The chicken was succulent and full of flavour. The mains were delicious and the lentils packed a real punch of spices without being overbearing. My only issue was service lacked for the first time, but we were promptly compensated.

Second time my wife and i have been to Asha's, and it did not disappoint. Fantastic meal.

We just wanted something good, local and quick to eat because we were on the road, and as I had been to Asha's previously, just thought to try it again. We were very impressed with everything, from service, food, atmosphere, decor. Will be going again next time we are in the area.

Amazing food, great cocktails and good service.

I would definately recommend.

With my wife and 4 friends went to Ashas, Birmingham, we had all been previously and, once again, the food and service were of top quality. It is not cheap, even with the 2 main courses for the price of one, but it is a superb meal.

Asha's Indian Bar and Restaurant, Newhall Street, Birmingham. My first visit to Asha's & I hope not the last! Inside is a bigger than it seems with cool retro decor, a large bar and beaded panels breaking up the room. Great staff, just the right side of friendly & helpful and the menu? Great choice for vegetarians, food fresh & well spiced, not quite having the wow factor of Lasan's but very much the equal of it's other competitors. Great cocktails & fantastic Lassies!

asha's restaurant in bimingham is the best indian restaurant in the midlands

Excellent food and even better service.

Well presented, nice atmosphere. Despite being busy we got friendly prompt service and the food was top notch - highly recommended

Dined from Asha's regular menu on new Years Eve - wonderful food, service and a nice atmosphere.

Great food, service and ambience. Recommended.

Booked a table for our wedding anniversary and specified a more privare booth for the occasion. Usual friendly welcome and although sat in the main area we were soon reseated in a great location! Superb cocktails to start and then enjoyed 2 wonderful prawn starters. Main of lamb was probably some of the best i have had and my wife's chicken dish was also great. Decided against desert but had complimentary cake with Happy Anniversary piped onto the plate - nice touch! Another positive experience!

Asha, Birmingham. Starter Shish Kebab was great. Really nice atmosphere, sophisticated, unlike most curry houses.Menu had many different as well. I wasn't massively impressed with my lamb main course as reminded me too much of chili con carne (was minced lamb) but my partners chicken curry was good. Spent just under £50 for starter, 2 mains, rice, popadoms and 2 beers with the 2-4-1 offer on mains, which I think is a little expensive, would be too much without the deal. Overall good though.

Very good fish curry and naan. The prawn curry was average. Efficient service. Would defnitely come again.
