Great service, excellent food, you can see they enjoy preparing top quality food in their presentation.

Nice ambience, very good starters, slightly cloying main courses and really lovely dessert platter.

I'd be really interested to go back on a weekend

4 of us had a fantastic mid-week meal here. Their sushi was great but the starters/salads and dim sum were the biggest hits, really tasty with excellent ingredients and brilliantly combined flavours - we will return!

Visited Chino Latino in Leeds for Lunch - Excellent quality food. All food tasted really fresh but that's the reason we come back again & again. Really enjoyed it!

This restaurant is fantastic! I took my fiancée for a romantic meal having heard good reviews, and was astonished by the quality of the food.

The staff and the ambience are also top quality. Any food lover in Yorkshire district (or further) should definitely make a visit (or two...).

We dined on monday 2nd april in the evening, had a really good meal the service was excellent too & would go back, it was quiet for a monday

Easily into double figures on my visits to chino over the years & this time didnt feel as crazy about it as others. Not sure why, maybe its lost its effect on me. They have changed the menu somewhat over the last year and my fave dishes have gone - plus the presentation of the dishes has gone from simple & elegant to flashy & almost garish. Anyway i still enjoyed it overall & maybe i need to try more dishes! the belly pork in the ginger &corinader miso was great, as were the sorbets.

Visited the Chino Latino in Leeds last night [22nd March]. Very good experience apart from my recurring problem with unnecessary background music. Excellent food, very ample portions well presented and good service. Value is directly linked to quality for me; £70 for 2 is a lot, but not if the quality is high. Here it was therefore good value.

The fixed price menu is good value at Chino Latino.

Absolutely amazing food, some of the best I've eaten in Leeds

Chino Latino, City Square, Leeds

The service, food, atmosphere and quality were excellent. I can't wait to go back. For a cold night mid-week the restauant was busy and very welcoming.

Chino Latino in Leeds - great dining experience, with a wide range of dishes. We'd particularly recommend the lobster signature dish - great flavour. Good value with the TopTable discount (would be rather pricey otherwise).

On arrival we were greeted & seated. Initially we were put on a table near the bar (as there were 6 of us) which felt a bit remote (i like being in the middle of the action). We commented & were moved into the main restaurant by Thanos (Manager). We were waited on by Alex & Andreus (hope i spelt it right) - they were both exceptional. My experience in this restaurant was excellent, it was friendly and the food was excellent. Whilst it seems pricey, i was more than happy to pay.

Very nice. Get going there early so you can make use of the excellent cocktail bar for a pre meal drink!

Chino Latinos Leeds was simply perfect. The restaurant is very stylish, waiter service first class, helped advise on the menu . Prompt service, quality food and all round lovely time. Price was reduced by 30% due to an offer from TopTable.com which helped. Plenty of food and lovely relaxing atmosphere. I wish all my meals were as good as this

We had lunch at Chino Latino Leeds. The food and the service were excellent and we will return to this restaurant. The lobster curry was fantastic.

The 1st time out of many I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. The food was great, the waiter and waitress who were looking after us made a few mistakes, didn't pour the wine as usual? Dropped the cutlery, offered my partner a mucky plate, brought the wrong rice & the bill was brought to me totalling the incorrect amount twice. All this was not the end of the world. What was the problem - 2 guys were at the bar afterwards, the bar tender was told they are VIP's, serve them next not me??

Second visit and loved it again. We were practically the only people in the restaurant when we arrived so service was fine (it did get a little slower as people trickled in), food was excellent again and will definitely go back.

Chino Latino, Leeds - Excellent food - v tasty & felt fairly healthy! Service good except took a long time to ask for coffee/dessert & bill after meal.

The food was very good quality Asian dishes especially the Sushimi. All of our party of 5 were well pleased with the taste and cleanliness. It wasn't very busy and as expected the service was good and firendly. Diasspointed however that they did not have details of my reservation which could have been embarrassing but because it was so quiet it was easy to get a table.

Chino Latino in Leeds. Lucy at front of house with her warm friendly approach and Matt behind the bar creating spectacular and delicious cocktails.....Exquisite in every respect. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Food was excellent as usual but service was slow and our food came before our initial drinks did. Would always go back as you cannot go wrong with this chef!

We went to Chino Latino in Leeds. Excellent food, very tasty and well presented. Service was very slow with a number of mistakes, although it looked like they were understaffed so were trying their best. If you had limited time then this may have been a problem, but the quality of food made up for it!

We took advantage of the top table offer Chino Latino Leeds We started with the prawns and scallops yummy, and then we went for sushi which was fabulous the only thing that ruined our evening(no fault of the Restaurant)was the man on the next table who blew (not sneezed) his nose into his linen napkin !!!!! i just can not understand why someone would do that i felt sorry for the staff .

I booked this for my boyfriend's birthday based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint! Actual restaurant itself was very good, the waiting staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was brilliant. The 25% off was really good too - it would have been very expensive without it and my rating below is inclusive of the discount!

Chino Latino in Leeds - not much more to say than quite simply the best resaurant I've been to.

Huge range of food and the menu is versatile enough to work as a normal starter/main/side meal, or as a tapas style meal with lots of dishes to share (which is definitely the way to do it!)

Recommend the sushi and the tiger prawns.

Chino Latino, Leeds was a great night out - superb food - if a little pricey but well served and with good service. The only slight drawback - chairs not very comfy and the temperature of the restuarant was a little on the cool side for me - other than that highly recommended !

Nice venue. Food was very tasty although not cheap! Well presented, nice friendly staff. Recommended!

Very good meal and value

I visited the Chino Latino in Leeds whilst away on business. The food was excellent and the waitress was very helpful in advising on the size of the food portions and also what dishes were the best to have that might suit the other courses. The staff were very attentive throughout . It was midweek so the restaurant was very quiet but this wasnt a problem as I was dining alone. The chocolate treat given when presented with the bill was amazing!! - Which were hand made by one of the chefs.

I have eaten at Chino Latino many times and never had a bad meal, and the more times I go I am inthe back of my mind waiting for the first bad experience. I am delighted to say that I am still waiting. The meal was for my wifes birthday and the waiting staff made it a very special occasion with baloons and a level of attention that was second to none, the kitchen even got involved and piped a birthday message on her dessert plate. The meal, service and overall ambience was exceptional.

Chino Latino served us an excellent meal as our toptable points redemption deal. Our daughter came along too and she chose a Bento box which was also delicious and excellent value. Wine is expensive. Pleasant ambience - recommended.

The service at Chino Latino in Leeds is excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. I used my toptable points to eat there and you can order two courses off the entire menu (no restrictions). At full price I think the restaurant os a little expensive, especially for Leeds. The food was tasty and the menu extensive.

Always excellent food and Matt (in the bar) and Lucy (front of house) offer exemplary service - fantastic evening.

Chino latino in Leeds has got to be one of the best restaurants in leeds. The food is always excellent here and always an enjoyable evening

took 2 friends who were new to chino who loved it. 30% off made it good value (although only 20% once they add 10% tip) - crab samosa was ok - tempura prawns and chicken wings were lovely. Mains were Lobster curry - Belly pork and Malaysian curry. All were fantastic - the texture of the pork, the delicately spcied lobster and the creamy chicken curry. The Spicy chino cocktails were enjoyed too! As always - highly recommended.

fantastic restaurant, food was superb. staff were friendly. i would highly recommend this restaurant

Great atmosphere, lovely food and very good service

Super food and Super service, Super music, simply a super restaurant 

Chino Latino in Leeds is very stylish and the staff were very attentive. The food was very good perfect for sharing however we were quite disappointed that even though the tasting menu was advertised on the menu for 2 people it's only available for 4! There was a suprise in the form of a fantastic dessert platter for my birthday which was a real treat thankyou.

Having lived in Leeds for over 4 years, I was always intrigued by the blacked-out window that masks Chino Latino but I had always heard great reviews so me and my partner decided to give it a go. The cocktails and food were top-notch! I went for the immense Jungle Curry which was indeed a feast and delicious (apart from the random floating grapes which didn't quite go in my eyes). Staff were lovely but at times slow. We had an amazing evening and I highly recommend stepping behind the dark doors

Chino Latino Leeds

Went here as part of a desperate attempt to find sushi in Leeds. Chino is expensive for what you get, though the food is very tasty. The sushi set comprised: california roll, salmon maki and 5 x nigiri - salmon, prawn, sea bass, tuna and salmon again. The rest of the menu is inventive and tasty

Drinks are expensive and the wine list wasn't that impressive.

Decor is funky, but looking tired. Despite all of this it was a pleasant visit but only with the 30% discount

I did not know this was a hotel restaurant and it was surprisingly good. The bar area was rather trendy and this is a place I could easily bring a date. The food tried to me very fusion/modern, but in all honesty it is just good food cooked well.

It is small, so certain times you can expect to be sitting next to others/very close.

Food can be great or terrible, it is very inconsistent which is pretty hit and miss, which is poor for value as the prices should reflect constant quality. £4 for a small bowl of microwaved soggy rice is an example of something disastrous. Others on the table had very dry chicken breast, however the beef on rocks was fantastic, as was the duck breast.

Overall, worthwhile going on a punt with a 50% discnt!

Very good service and food good quality. Rewards menu as described. Normal prices are high.

Chino Latino in the Park Plaza Hotel in Leeds was an ideal venue for a family celebration. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the excellent meal was served by very friendly and attentive staff.

Portions very large and food very good. Portions too large for 3 girls who were full after starter. Good job they are big as they're not cheap!! Puddings wer very odd but the ice cream and lemon sorbet were delicious. Wine expensive by the glass. Would only go on a discount.

Good as always - dissapointed at the slight change to the menu as 2 of my favourite dishes have now gone - but luckily everything here is of high quality and it tastes fantastic.

Although I did feel the presentation of the food was lacking something this time. On oprevious occasions we have said "Wow!", but this time the dishes looked a little less impressive & a bit plain.

The pork belly &lamb cutlets were delicious, but the side order of rice noodles appears to have shrunk somewhat.

Took advantage of the 40% off food lunch offer. Very good value. Limited menu at lunch time but well worth the money. Will definitely return to this restaurant.

Visited Chino Latino for dinner on Saturday night. It was the first time we have eaten here and it was a great choice. The food was excellent, fresh, well presented and tasted delicious. Service was first class. Staff were friendly and very efficient. The basic cost is quite expensive but there is currently an offer of 30% off the a la carte. Would definately visit again.
