Can only say thank you to Craig our waiter and all the staff at Cucina at the Missoni Hotel In Edinburgh for the superbe service and first class experience we had (yet again) for the pre theatre supper on Saturday night . There were seven in our group and all agreed that - The food was flawless. The house wine delicious. What more can I say?

Cucina, Edinburgh. Before booking this restaurant on toptable I searched for Christmas meals as this was to be our Christmas night out. I asked for an 8pm booking and was given 8.30 which was fine. When we arrived we were handed normal menus and I asked if we could have the Christmas menu as that was what I thought I had booked. The waitress then had to consult the chef who in turn said we couldn't as we had to pre-pay a £20 deposit for the Christmas menu. At this point we decided to leave.

We had the set menu at Cucina in Edinburgh, the food was really, the staff were excellent and lovely cocktails

Cucina, Missoni Hotel, Edinburgh. This restaurant was very nice but I found it to be a little overrated. The prices were very expensive for the amount of food you got, the menu didn't really have a huge amount of choice and the one chicken dish offered in the main course menu was extremely salty. Cannot fault the service though and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would probably not recommend to others as there are so many better restaurants in Edinburgh to visit.

Food good if a little overpriced. Having visited the downstairs bar numerous times and always found it to have a lively atmosphere and a good buzz we were disappointed with the lack of ambience in the restaurant.

We dined at Cucina ( Hotel Missoni) Edinburgh. The complimentary olive oil and extensive selection of breads are a lovely way to start your meal. Food was amazing and the service excellent.

Cucina at Hotel Missoni, Edinburgh was excellent. Good food in a stylish (of course its Missoni) restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service very attentive. There were 5 in our group and our orders ranged from the fish to the meat and the pasta. All very tasty. We will be back.

Hotel Missoni, Edinburgh, Ambiance/decor of venue was excellent. Service very attentive, but venue quiet. 1 course for £9.50 seemed to be unavailable even though we asked. 2 courses £14.95 or 3 £17.95 available at lunchtime. Food choice was excellent, main courses excellent for taste, portions could have been a bit larger. However a great basket of bread/olive oil was serviced with no extra charge. puddings good, but little choice. Gen good, but bit dear as lots cheaper near competition.

Cucina was one of the best meals we have had out in Edinburgh!! The food was stunning, value was great and the staff were all very lovely and on the ball. One small criticism I would have was at the beginning of our meal we had three or four staff come over asking different thing. I felt that it would have been nicer if one staff took charge of our table and asked everything. Would definitely recommend!

Cucina-Service was fabulous. Some parts of the meal were not too great, fish was cooked in bad oil however starters and bread were great and the waiters were very nice!

Afternoon at Hotel Missoni bar was fabulous! Best scones ever. Great selection of savoury and sweet. would have been nicer sitting in one of the alcoves though rather than at the table which was a bit close to our 'neighbours'

Cucina, Edinburgh: one of the best meals out we can remember. We enjoyed the Pre-theatre menu: great value, with a good selection of dishes available. Our brown shrimp starters wereperfect with a superb homemade mayonnaise. I throughly enjoyed my Coley main course, and my husband, his slow cooked beef, with some very tasty broccoli with garlic and chilli on the side. Service was impeccable: attentive without being obtrusive, and the sommelier was a delight! Knowledgable and very helpful.

Cucina, Edinburgh

Lovely food, wine and atmosphere. Downsides: waitress got order wrong then forgot when we reminded her about missing side dishes - eventually gave up. And why do you have to pay for veg on top of pricey main courses??

Went for lunch, tasty meal with good sized portions, staff were attentive, would recommend!

Excellent lunch ,stylish surroundings, staff efficient and friendly. Will be lunching at Missoni ,Edinburgh again very soon.

We had a lovely meal with friendly service

Cucina at Hotel Missoni, Edinburgh was excellent. Fantastic Italian food in a stylish yet relaxing environment coupled with friendly and attentive service. From the fruity Sicilian olive oil served with the extensive selection of breads to the grilled Coley they didn't miss a trick to delight the tastebuds. Not only will I return but next time I'm in town I'll consider staying at the hotel on the basis of how well run the restaurant is.

Excellent lunch offer . The interior is very beautifully done by Missoni. Very friendly service.

Given the high quality of food and cooking, the pre-theatre menu is a bargain. Great service, a stylish dining room and fine food - a fantastic evening.

V nice

Really enjoyable lunch at Cucina. Had the mussels followed by the ragu which was really nice. But particularly liked the fried courgettes side dish. The staff were very friendly too. I would come back again for lunch.

Very pretty dining room and a lovely meal with friendly service. Beef carpaccio was excellent.

cucina was outstanding would eat here again

Service a bit fussy on this occasion and food quality a bit patchy - some dishes very good as usual, some found wanting

Cucina, Missoni Hotel Edinburgh Nice menu! Excellent value for money & great service! An enjoyable dining experience!
