Gaucho Leeds was a fantastic lunch. Hubby and friend started with cocktails and then had amazing rib eye beef. Excellent wine knowledge and choice. Definately recommend.

The service and ambience was exceptional as always. I ordered the Tira De Ancho which is normally excellent, and very good value. This was not so good this time, I don't know if anything has changed of late. The salad is much nicer now however. If you haven't been to Gauchos I suggest you do. This is my tenth time or so.

The best steak I've eaten, they even converted a non steak lover

Although expensive it was definitely worth the money. The service was attentive and prompt. We went per theatre and so were in a bit of a rush so I was disappointed not to have time to sample the desserts, but I have a birthday coming up soon and hopefully will return so we can linger a little longer over our meal

Leeds, Park Row. Exquisite service. Only let down was a slightly chewy rib eye but a free pudding was nice - thanks.

This was our second visit to Gaucho Leeds. After a shaky start with a long wait for our cocktails and then our table, the evening improved with a complimentary bottle of champagne and an excellent table waiter. The food was average and the wine was overpriced.

Our server even remembered what wine we have last time what more could you ask for. Only downside they let our steaks go cold on the hot plate waiting for a side salad. I know what I would have done.... Tasted great though!

Good food, nice atmosphere and interior (although too warm inside!), great service. Steaks cooked to near perfection. Trés expensive though...

Gaucho in Leeds was a fantastic night out, the staff were very attentive but also friendly. The food itself was superb, obviously the steaks were great, but also the desserts. Excellent night out.

I visited he Gaucho in Leeds on Friday February 24, 2012. As previous reviewers have pointed out the wine is very expensive. The food was above average but not excellent as I would expected as it is not cheap, I felt the tables had been crammed into the restaurant . The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Would I recommend? Probably not as I was a bit disappointed with my dining experience, have paid less and had better in other restaurants in Leeds.

Excellent food; excellent service; excellent ambience! Not cheap, but highly recommended!

Visited Gaucho in Leeds ths weekend - wow! Fabulous venue, great atmosphere and above all fantastic food. The waiting service was impeccable.

Very very good food and wine. Expensive.

The Gaucho chain in London are superb every time, Leeds I'm pleased to say is no different and the staff were excellent and the wine choice spot on. The design team at Gaucho really do know how to pull off cow hide and decadence in style!

A very nice place to eat! The food was amazing and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Great Valentine's Dinner. Hostess had remembered us from before and was very friendly. Great atmosphere

Gaucho Leeds - what an amazing place! Loved the atmosphere, the waiting staff who more than adequately knew their cuts of meat, the cocktail list, and the wine recommendation. A scarf we left at the coat check was misplaced during our meal, but we were promised a call the following morning to see if it had turned up. No phone call received, so we had to chase ourselves, which was disappointing. But when we called and asked, the scarf had been found. We'll be back - the food was amazing.

Gaucho, Leeds: The service is impeccable and the food even more so. From the off, the staff are very civilised, helpful and do what they can to make you feel comfortable and make sure you have all you need. Then, the food comes. The steaks are sensational, not to mention the starters we had and the sides. It was the second time i've been to Gaucho.. the first time was so good it stuck in my head and I couldn't wait to go again. It is quite pricey but it's definitely worth it.. highly recommended

We had a fantastic evening and I have no negatives what so ever. The service and food was excellent . thanks for a great night

Great, as always! Much cheaper than a London Gauchos, which is an added bonus.Good service too.

I love Gaucho, we always have a fantastic time! The interior is amazing and the staff are excellent. I asked the waitress to recommend a wine and she duly brought out 3 wines she thought I would like and gave us a glass of each and I must say she hit the nail on the head with her choice. The food is fantastic. My partner and I had chateubriand and it was cooked to perfection with lovely side orders, so much steak I couldn't finish my plate. Highly recommended for a great night out.

Gaucho Leeds, I so just would bring back the jacket potato, serve a small salad as free, steaks are always excellent

Great meal. Well worth it for a special occasion. Steak cooked to perfection.

really enjoyed the meal. one of the steaks was cooked correctly on one side, yet slightly overdone on the other - for this we were offered a refund.

Good food & service

consistently first class

Great meal. Really good service.

Gaucho - Leeds. The steaks are amazing. I would avoid starters and desserts which are both expensive an uninspiring, but really go for it with the steaks and fantatic wine list.

fabulous as always. same service whichever gaucho we have been to. cannot fault the ambience, service or food. wonderful night that and 3 hours spent there that flew by.!

It's a long time since I've had steak this tough and this problem was compounded by the price I was charged.

When I pointed out that my half eaten steak was too tough to eat I was offered a verbal apology and served some desserts, despite the fact everybody in the table had declined this course. It would have been far more appropriate for the dish to have been removed from the menu...

This is the second disappointing meal I've had at gauchos in the last 2 months. At the prices charged the very least that should be expected is an edible steak!

Enjoyed our evening in Gaucho Leeds!

had an excellent meal at Gaucho's on Saturday night. Venue was busy, but service was not compromised. Wine was excellent too

The meal was lovely as usual. The waiter was not great though he clarified a drinks order 4 times, moved our wine to the serving station to make room for the food but was not great at topping us up.

Gaucho - Leeds - food was excellent, service was great, great atmospere, but very expensive, which despite the quality, we felt was slightly overpriced. Would definitely go back.

First ever visit to Gaucho Leeds and it certainly won't be the last. First of all the service was first rate. Jack, a new waiter to Gaucho looked after us incredibly well. It seemed as if he'd been there for years but was only one his first shifts. He was attentive yet not obtrusive. Knew his product very well! Food was spot on, both 'fillet' steaks were cooked to perfection. Thoroughly recommend.

Gaucho Leeds. Excellent food as always. Service slightly less professional than I've experienced there before but friendly nevertheless.

Food and ambience excellent as usual

Great,as always

Gaucho, Leeds. Modern, lively and very fullfilling, only negative was that the music was fractionally too loud.

Gaucho Leeds Overall a very good experience and our party of four would all go again. Highlights included the pre-dinner wheat beer; the detailed explananation of the various cuts of beef available and the quality of the steak we were served - especially the chateaubriand. However, it's not cheap, especially the burger (over £16 without chips) which you'd expect to be more keenly priced. All the serving staff were very knowledgeable and professional.

Gaucho - Leeds Park Row Gorgeous atmosphere. Professional, well informed and friendly staff. The best steaks both my boyfriend and I have ever had... Great cocktails. Recommend this highly for any special occasions, you'll feel very treated!

Everything about the night was amazing, the restaurant was vibrant with a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic and then the food arrived? I can only say it was the best steak I have ever tasted and a nice touch the way they bring out the steaks to show you before cooking. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it is a must for every meat eating person on the planet!

Had to wait 30 minutes for our table which was rather annoying, but food and service was excellent. Lively and buzzy but rather expensive.

Very good, excellent service and even better food. Clientelle is nowhere near as nice as a London Gaucho, but then this is not London. People quite loud and drunk in groups around the restaurant, some shouting and one even took their top off. You pay a premium at Gaucho to not be eating with people behaving like that. What can the restaurant do about it though?

Had a great meal at Gaucho in Leeds. Having been disappointed in eating steaks out we were keen to try this carnivores paradise. We were not disappointed the steak was fabulous. The menu has a wide range of options to cover appetites large and small and whilst quite pricey the old adage you get what you pay for works for me here. Didn't think the starters were that good for the price but nice bread and lovely chocolate brownie to finish. The Argentinian wine is well worth a try.

Great as always, but don't order the lamb chops. Very disappointing main course. Gaucho are good for steaks, so stick with them! Love it here and going back in 2 days time. If you haven't been, then go...

Gaucho Leeds - fantastic decor, great setting. Unfortunetly the restaurant seemed understaffed as the service was really slow. We had a booking for 8:45 but it must have been nearly 10 before we got a starter. The staff were not able to respond quickly enough as there just was not enough of them. The food was lovely but drinks seemed v expensive in comparison. Not as good as the one in Manchester which is a shame.

We all had the scallop starter which was very dissapointing - we weren't warned that is would be raw and as such got a shock when it arrived.

That being said the Gaucho Sampler we had as the main course was simply stunning. I'm not lying when I say it was the best steak I've ever had - wonderful.

The staf were very attentive and helped us to make excellent wine choices.

Overall I was very satisfied .

Gaucho Leeds- we were in the private dining room at the restaurant and it was amazing. food was great the only thing that was not so great was the serivce but probably there were too many of us.

Gaucho's Leeds city centre. The venue was a little difficult to find, as the sign was small and discrete. The welcome was friendly and the ambiance great. The tables were well laid out and the chairs comfortable. The menu was extensive and very well explained by the staff. The wine menu was good, although a little expensive. The service was good and the staff very accommodating. Overall the night was very good and would definitely recommend.

Nice venue, good steaks. Expensive. Puddings microscopic
