Gaylord, opened in 1966 and was one of only a handful of Indian restaurants at the time. The curated and succinct Gaylord at Home delivery menu will feature no less than 25 dishes from the original 80+ options.

Cited as the originator of the chicken tikka masala, and the home of the first ever clay oven in the UK, which was  flown via business class from India specifically for the restaurant, Gaylord was a firm favourite on the west end dining scene with everyone from Sir Cliff Richard, the Reagans and Bollywood stars, regularly dining there.

Mughlai classics to choose from include filled, crispy Samosas; tandoor roasted, subtly spiced Chicken Tikkas; and Lamb Seekh Kebab of minced leg of lamb, grilled over live charcoal.

Mains are a comforting curry house roster: from a sweet and spicy Goan Prawn Curry, rich with tamarind, coconut and Kashmiri chilli powder, to the Lamb Rogan Josh, topped as traditional with sliced ginger.

Their Butter Chicken is rich and fragrant, and vegetarians can take on Palak Paneer: cubes of cottage cheese cooked in spiced spinach, or slow cooked dhals adorned with tempered spices.

Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani with long grain basmati rice is cooked with tender lamb cubes, saffron and authentic north Indian spices, dum style, whilst freshly tandoored Rotis, Kulcha Parathas and Naans will be cooked to order for London local delivery.

Nationwide Gaylord at Home is designed to finish in the simplest of steps, with only a quick reheat and sprinkling of fresh coriander and then enjoyed and available through.
