Great private area for team event. Cocktails mind blowingly strong, but we were warned!

Absolutely fantastic! Theer was unfortuntaley a mix up with bookings as I booked on toptable but the restaraunt does not use toptable any more?!?...however they catered to my needs in a flash. Friendly service and excellent homely food and brilliant value. Will deffinitely be finding an excuse to go back!

City Cafe, Hilton Doubletree, London Originally booked the Millbank Lounge but asked to transfer to City Cafe as the seating arrangement is not convenient for dining - low, deep sofas have you crouching over or perched on the edge of your seat to reach your food. Would probably be OK for finger foods but not a meal. The City Cafe provided good waiter service but food was just OK. Drinks were extortionate - £13.50 for 16 yr old malt, the very same at Loch Fyne Restaurant the next day, £3.55!!

Hadn't realized how much of a lounge the Millbank Lounge at the Mint Hotel actually is! Would be perfect for a cocktail gathering, but less accommodating for an evening meal - we had to perch on the edge of our comfy lounge chairs to eat. Be warned that the croque monsieur is really just a ham and cheese toastie.

Millbank Lounge Bar

The location of this venue was difficult to find, it is located within the Mint Hotel.

My request for a table with a view was noted.

Service - excellent Food choice - excellent, would definitely recommend the small side plates of calamari, tempura prawns and the succulent beef ribs.

Cocktails were a little pricey

We had a super lunch. The food and service were excellent. The lounge bar is modern and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Millbank Lounge Bar.

Nice decor, friendly enough staff, just a little pricey for the type of food, which needed to order more than we though for two people.

Food was very enjoyable though.

Would come back Paul

the venue was lovely and the service great, however it was a bit stressful as they had no record of my booking. luckily we were early and so could sort it out. wine was on the pricey side and they quickly ran out of any reasonably priced bottles

Millbank Lounge Bar, London was used as the venue for my 10th Christmas Party. The staff were welcoming. efficient and courteous and they were excellent at handling the large number of guests and changing requests through the night. A slight discrepancy on the bill was fixed as soon as it was highlighted with no consternation and all my guests left having had an excellent evening. Although the bar is in the Mint hotel, it has a distinct character of it's own, chic and exclusive. Will Return!

I organised our company Christmas party at Millbank Lounge in Pimlico, London and I'm glad I did! The venue was just the ticket - comfortable, inviting, all in all very pleasant! The service was friendly and our whims with rearranging the furniture to suit our group better were accommodated with no issues what so ever. Feedback from my colleagues has been glowing :-) I will book again and recommend to others too!

Very nice ambience & staff. Will certainly return.

The Millbank Lounge Bar is a bar within a hotel which I think should be made clear in the advert-it doesn't say so anywhere in the advert, and this changes the type of occassion its suitable for. The service and food was excellent and the place was very nice, not quite the atmosphere I expected from the picture but still very nice and stylish. Not that many main meal food options either.

Nice place 2 mins walk from Tate Modern and ten mins from Westminster station.

Nice salads and good vegetarian choices. Good value for money. Also have nice Sunday lunch in downstairs restaurant.

This restaurant is part of the City Inn hotel, will highly recommend.

Let down, once again, by shockingly poor service.

The staff didn't seem to be interested in taking orders and had we not asked, we'd still be waiting the olives we ordered.

The carpet surrounding our booth was filthy and covered in the remnants of someones lunch.

Not a place I'll be rushing back to.

The service is great and they have a great selection of cocktails. Perfect for after work drinks.

For a Friday evening the bar was perfect, not crowded or noisy. The cocktails were fantastic.

Millbank Lounge Bar is a great place to have corporate drinks. Good ambience, nice deco and great service. Highly recommended.

The Millbank Lounge bar is a fantastic place for cocktails and conversations. The atmosphere is modern, romantic, and sophisticated.

Fantastic ambience, the cocktails are superb and the lounge burger is delicious. An excellent venue for those who like to chill.

The croque monsieur is rather good, although as a few reviews have mentioned, service is very slow even when the place is quite empty so it is not advisable to go here if you are in a hurry. Worth going to if you work nearby, would not make a special trip

I went to Millbank Lounge Bar for a business lunch. It's a nice quiet atmosphere but obviously popular with nearby Westminster workers.Food tasty, salad well dressed & quick to arrive. Fresh crab on toast excellent. Service was polite and unobtrusive. Relatively pricey for the small portions but tasty. I'd go again for business but probably not for pleasure.

As a colleague had missed out on the official party, we made a last minute decision to try the Millbank Lounge Bar for lunch. We were well looked after and the food, excellent Crispy Duck salads arrived quickly and very well prepared. The house Chardonnay was good value.

In an area not overly blessed with wine bars this is actually a nice find and I'm sure we'll return in the New Year!

The venue was lovely for a bite and a cocktail after work during the week - probably wouldn't head there on a Friday night - slightly older clientelle, but we were impressed by our celebrity spot of the evening...

Millbank Lounge is a perfect place to meet up with friends for cocktails after work, it is a gorgeously cool bar with great furniture and a relaxed vibe. We arrived early and were seated straight away, the Wild Grass Martini was divine and everybody in our party had a lovely time. Will definitely be back.

All a bit underwhelming. The size of the lunch time salads tended to mask the ordinary quality.

We had a very nice relaxing lunch at Millbank Lounge. The portions were fairly small but the food was good, and the service excellent.

Superb and very friendly service and great food - puts a lot of other London bars and restaurants to shame!

We experienced a very relaxed and enjoyable evening at Millbank Lounge Bar. The drinks menu is very impressive, highly recommended for whisky drinkers! Although the food was excellent, eating on low tables is not comfortable. I will return to enjoy a few more of the whisky's on offer.

Millbank Lounge Bar is a great place for a business meeting. Be sure to book one of the booths in advance.

I would recommend this as a smart bar to drink in but the food choices were limited. The quality of the food was good but it is a very casual environment for dining e.g. low tables. The City Cafe restaurant downstairs looks like the better option for dining.

Millbank is a terribly relaxing and aesthetic establishment in a bit of a backwater. The menu was a bit limited (and the herbal teas were off) but good value. The wine list was also reasonably priced. The manager was absolutely charming, but his staff left a bit to be desired, and were rather vacant. The conveniences were exceptional, and I would certainly recommend it overall.

The Millbank Lounge Bar has a great vibe. The only problem is that service is incredibly slow so unless you have a few hours (and are not very hungry) it's not a practical lunch venue. The food was good when it arrived except the fries that were overdone.

I took a client for a quick bite to eat during lunch and was dissapointed as we waited 50 mins for our Chickean Caeser Salad and Hamburger to be deliverd. Dont go here if you are in a rush to get get anywhere

This is a nice "hotel" style bar with nice music in the background and funky decor. Short but decent wine list and the food (we had small starters to share) was nice. Unfortunately a piece of chicken wasnt cooked through, however they were very appologetic and gave us 25% off our bill. A shame for what would have been a top evening

Excellent once again, except it was a bit cold in the bar today.

The Millbank Lounge Bar was very quiet on a Saturday lunch time but I can imagine it's buzzing in the evenings. The staff were very helpful and gave our feedback to the chef when we complained that the whitebait was way too salty. They offered us a complimentary drink by way of an apology, but we were ready to go by then. However, it was appreciated. Very comfortable and modern decor - definitely a place to come for an after work drink.

Another excellent evening. Before we ordered food, the waitresses were circulating with sample trays, so we pretty much sampled everything on the menu for free before we ordered. Lovely atmosphere and although quite espensive, very much worth a visit.

We had lunch at the Millbank Lounge Bar - nice modern decor but not a great deal of choice on the menu.

We went for some predrinks and nibbles before our meal and was looking forward to a sleek experience seeing the blurb and pictures, however sorely dissapointed, the lounge had very little if no atmosphere, was heavily smoky (even for me as a smoker,), the service was a little hit and miss. The cocktails menu was long but didn't feel justified paying the prices as the lounge itself was just not the kind of place where you could kick back and enjoy, sadly, will not be returning!

We booked a booth at the Millbank Lounge Bar for a leisurely, relaxing midweek lunch. That's exactly what we got, in a first class setting with excellent service. Good food, although not cheap.

Millbank Lounge was a total let down for me. I expected high things from it, but it was an ordinary bar in a hotel. With plenty of competition in the area, it sorely dissappointed. Drinks were mediocre, views were mediocre, in fact everything was mediocre.

it was very nice atmosphere and very service/

A lovely comfortable place to meet up with friends. Not smokey, softly lit and the chairs hug you. Our boothe felt like our own private lounge. The service, wine and food was very good.

Always a conducive environment for a business lunch. Great set up.
