Booked Rajdoot Birmingham at short notice. Staff were very helpfull. Before you are seated , you are offered drinks and order. While you chat and drink, the waiters will take your order and then after a while take you to your table when its ready. The food is very good and unlike some other restaurants. The food is well presented. Slight pricey but worth the extra.

ragdoot birmingham, the food was as good as my mother's cooking perfect in every way had the sharing platter which like a full meal. have been to this place twice previously food has always been amazing, the service is sopt on clean very nice place to eat would recomend to anyone.

Good food and well designed restaurant.Service is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Rajdoot, Birmingham It was my first time here after living around the corner for over 5 years! I had high hopes though as I've heard lots of good things. The food was generally very tasty, although there are a couple of grumbles. I thought the portion sizes were a little meagre, especially since the dishes aren't cheap. We were also overcharged for the rice, although couldn't be doing with sorting the bill - especialy as there was already quite a delay on a starter and a drinks order!

Rajdoot was the perfect ending to a night that began with a concert, as they conveniently accept bookings up to 10PM. ambience is classy but not too pretentious and not too tastelessly exotic. Ample choice of amazing food. you might have to wait a little bit but it's worth waiting! And if you arrive early you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint in the adjoining lounge bar. The only flaw: the measure of scotch whisky after dinner was far from generous.

Rajdoot Birmingham. Another foray to our favoritre Indian restaurant in Brum. Went for the garlic duck Chilli, lovely moist chunks of Duck in a sublime sauce. Friends had the Garlic King prawn chilli, they loved it but a little mean on the quantity of Prawns for nearly £16, a little bit of a let down but still a really lovely meal. Staff as attentive and friendly as usual.

Rajdoot Birmingham Another visit to our favourite Birmingham curry restaurant. Always a great pleasure, wonderful food, friendly and efficient staff .A relaxing and comfortable spot at our favourite little round corner table. Keep up the high standards guys. Be back soon.

Rajdoot Birmingham A pleasant evening, very nice mixed Kebab starter, prawns a little over done and the sauce on the thin side. Not the usual very high standard, put it down to a one off. We will return as it is our favorite in Birmingham.

Rajdoot in Birmingham was decent but I dont think i'd attend again due to poor service and waiting around for food! Apart from that the decor is nice.

Rajdoot Birmingham. Very Nice meal, lovely room and prompt and friendly service. Food was very good with an excellent mixed kebab starter. Nice portion sizes with attention to detail. It was also well priced and good value for money. My only criticism would be the excess of salt in the side dishes, unnecessary, but the only fault on a nice night out. Will return

On a Tuesday evening, there were only a few diners. The restaurant has decor of a high spec but i would expect the ladies fascitiles to be of a high standard.

The vegetarian starters were excellent (not oily). However, the paneer makhani had a very strong tomatoe flavour . Chana were very good along with the naans and roti.

The waiter was obvioulsy having a munch in the kitchen so when he came out he did have a bit of food stuck to the corner of his mouth ! I would go again.

Second visit to the Rajdoot (George St) in two months and I rated it as very good on both occasions. In my experience, it's the best Indian food in Birmingham.

Rajdoot Birmingham. Our party enjoyed the experience. The food and service were very good.

I have been here several times, the food, service and ambiance are always good. This was a special occasion and the staff made us all very welcome.

Fantastic restaurant. Excellent service from the minute you walk through the door. Food is the best I have tasted anywhere in Birmingham.

Would definitely recommend.

rajdoot birmingham, we have dined here before service is always good even when busy , food is full of flavour and authentic indian tasting. we felt that the adjoining table was a little too close to us as we could hear all their conversation and no doubt they ours i prefer a little space especially if there are empty tables around

Dinner at the Rajdoot in Birmingham on 8 May 2010. Were greeted and seated in the lounge area and menus brought, drink orders taken very quickly. Restaurant was very well decorated, lit well (not too bright) and service was excellent. Food was, as always, well cooked well seasoned and arrived at the table hot. Overall a very good enjoyable meal and experience and highly recommended.

Rajdoot - Birmingham

Fantastic, tasty meal, great service and a fair price. Would highly reccomend.

Rajdoot is a long established restaurant and has a good reputation. We all enjoyed the meal and the service and the surroundings are relaxing. Well worth a visit.

Been to Rajdoot, Birmingham many times and it never disappoints. Traditional Indian food. Lovely surroundings and very pleasant staff.

Starters were good, particularly the Aloo tikki was excellent. But the curry dishes were not spicy enough and Dal makhni carried too much garlic. Excellent ambience but not a great service though. Overall average

When we arrived they seated us at the bar, which wasnt too bad, they gave us a drinks menu and the food menu. They took our drinks order and insisted that we make our order for food which i didnt really like. i wanted to sit at my table and order. that was the only let down of the night. i ordered the set menu which was £22 for one person, the food arrived and it was like i was eating for 2. the starters were very nice and well cook. although the main was not to my satisfaction. no taste or spic

Very busy, had to wait for table. Great atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Food good and well presented, would visit again.

Very good food and service as usual. A nice blend of good food and good atmosphere. We will go again.

Very good food, well cooked in a nice environment and with good service. Slightly on the pricy side for what was on offer however and small portions. You would need a start or a couple side dishes for a full meal but this is the only criticism.

Went to Rajdoot In Birmingham last night and was thoroughly charmed by the staff and the decor. Lovely food and first time try of Kulfi(very interesting dessert). Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I booked a table at Rajdoot Birmingham for a 60th birthday celebration. The food was very good. However it was let down a bit by the service. The waiting staff were not attentive - for example I had to ask several times for our drinks and everytime we needed something it was difficult to find a waiter. In addition I asked for a good table as it was for a celebration and we ended up on a very small table with ripped seats.

We really enjoyed our latest visit to Rajdoot - had to wait a little while for the table but not really a problem. Ordered starter platter for two + samosas between 4 of us - plenty and very tasty. Main meals were excellent - my king prawn chilli garlic was delicious, lamb chilli bhuna was really good as was lamb jalfrazi. Both red and rose wines were lovely - there is plenty of choice. Service, as always, was friendly and attentive.

Excellent meal at Rajdoot, one of the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham, and I've been to most! 3 of us went for 2 x Vegetarian Thali and 1 x Rajdoot Special (Meat Thali) which included desserts & massala chai or coffee.

Everything was excellent and there is plenty left for me to enjoy a lunch of leftovers today. Desserts were particularly good, its always nice to see real indian desserts such as ras malai, *real* homemade kulfi and the delicious halva. Can't wait to return.

Very near city centre.Rajddot is an excellent place to eat Indian food. The place is very friendly, good for families, romance or work. Friendly staff, fab food, we have been going for over 25 years. The chef has been there over 36 years and they pride themselves on good food and a warm welcome.

Visited Rajdoot in Birmingham. Absolutely brilliant time. Service was friendly and quick. Food was delicious. We ate so much we couldn't eat the next day. Very reasonably priced.

Rajdoot, Birmingham.

Lovely food and great ambience. The nepalise dishes are amazing. The food tasted really clean and fresh and was not greasy like a lot of curries and the meat was not overcooked which can occurr often. Also, the food is not exceptionally hot in terms of spice (unless you ask for it) but it still has loads of great flavour.

The only issue we had was that the service was a bit slow at times however the place was heaving so the staff were run off their feet!

Rajdoot in Birmingham was good but not the best Indian I've been too. The food was tasty. This was the second dinner I has organised for my parent anniversary, however, unlike the first, Rajdoot did not think to do something a little more special. Also the waiter pushed us a little too much to order more dishes, although as a family we do not eat too much. Mentioning it oncce is fine, but again was a bit too much in my opinion. Nice to try but not sure if I'd go back again.

Good Food, Certainly worth a try.

lovely light food. not the normal overly greasy food we've grown acustomed to when visitng indian restaurants. quick service but a bit lacking in atmosphere, possibly as it was a quiet monday!

Rajdoot is a vibrant place, lovely to look at too. The staff are good at their jobs and charming even though very busy. The food was great.

Rajdoot was a great restaurant choice for 12 hungry guys on a stag weekend. We chose a place that was highly recommended on TT as we have no local knowledge of Birmingham and this choice did not fail! Happy they accommodated for a group of our size and was absolutely stuffed by the end of it - Price was spot on (a lot cheaper than London).

We enjoyed a lovely romantic valentines dinner. The restaurant had been decorated with heart shaped balloons etc.. and looked lovely. We had a set menu which showed pff the restaurants variety of dishes nicely. The only drawback was the tables were a little close together, but overall an excellent restaurant

Food was excellent, the fish starter was particularly delicious. There was so much food we at about half of the food brought for main course on the Chefs Menu. The service was good if not a little over enthusiastic.

Rajdoot once again failed to disappoint. We will continue to dine here.

Rajdoot is one of the nicest indian restaurants I have eaten in. Everything about it was excellent.

Rajdoot is probably one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been too, really nice atmosphere, good service, little high price wise, but you get what you pay for, would definitely recommend!

Rajdoot-Birmingham.... nice no fantastic ambience very posh n upmarketfeel, but ends there, food not value for money though tastes yummy. need to increase their portion size i feel.

We ate at Rajdoot last night & once again we were not let down. Food was fantastic! Will definitely be going again.

Great meal with a little bit if sophistication. We have eaten at the Rajdoot several times and have never been disappointed. Saturday was just as good as our previous trips and the starter was a delight. Can,t wait for our next visit.

rajdoot A wonderful evening.

We ate at Rajdoot last night and loved the meal. Great food, great service. Very authentic. Definitely recommend & will be going there again.

Rajdoot serves Excellent food with excellent service. The lamb was stunning!

Rajdoot is the best Indian restaurant I've dined at in Birmingham. Would highly recommend it.

The atmosphere and decor was nice. The shared plattersfor startes were good, though the portions were too big .Of the mains we had ,nothing stood out above the average balti. The lamb jalfrezi was good but the prawns and chicken dishes were very poor .The chicken bhuna was chunky pieces of breast and mushroom thrown into a dilute tasteless sauce as were the prawns. While the waiters did smile pleasantly the service was average .Some of our drinks never arrived .I was told ,they were too busy.
