Great night out at Sabai Thai Gastrobar. We sat in the raised area at the back which was an experience in itself because you basically sit on mats on the floor and have to take your shoes off before entering (not sure that it would be great for anyone elderly or pregnant etc). Great food, drinks (particularly the chilli vodka shots and chilli mojitos) and staff. All in all we had a great work related night out.

Sabai Thai Gastrobar is an intimate setting - a small restaurant. Menu is extensive but also a good choice of set menus. It's clearly a popular place! We had a set menu and a bottle of wine and the overall price was good value for money.

First time here and excellent food and service. Shame the restaurant wasn't a bit busier but it was terrible weather!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Food was out fast and full of flavour, best Thai green curry I've ever had!

We were a bit disappointed. The food was mediocre although the staff were lovely.

Sabai Thai in Brighton - great place, great food. And gluten-free dishes clearly listed - very helpful. Will return.

Fourth visit now to Sabai Thai in Brighton. The atmosphere is great, staff very attentive and food, as always, superb - what I would call traditional Thai food. Try the Chili Vodka shots - they will warm you up.

This was my second visit to the Sabai, met by very charming thai girl and , as the restaurant was empty, she said I could sit anywhere, however, her british colleague told me he couldn't let me sit on one of the larger tables??? They had 5 people eating in and 2 in for a take away whilst I was there, so 3 tables in use , hardly busy and completely unnecessary jobs worth attitude. The food though was as good as last time and the thai staff couldn't have been more pleasant.

We arrived early at Sabai Thai, and it was empty, but after beilng given a nice table and while I perused the menu and enjoyed my chili mojito, it began to fill up. The food was excellent, we shared fish cakes and a weeping tiger, then both had noodles for mains. The food had a great level of spice, and was well cooked. The service was quick and attentive, and the staff were friendly and polite. Woudl thoroughly recommend.

Booked Sabai Thai Gastrobar in Brighton at the very last minute and we were pleased lovely restaurant and great service also very good value for money. service was quick also. Only critique was that it was clear that because of the extensive menue the meals were pre cooked and reheated which is fine but my parteners reheated pork was luke warm. But delicious flavours and I would eat here again.

the food was great, we were on a hen night and they made us feel very welcome. the hen even haf a free drink on arrival. i would go back and recommend to friends.

All good

Lovely food. Starter portions very small. Good service.

What a place great atmosphere lovely staff and what food. The choice was amazing and we spent the evening planning when we are back next!! Totally recommend everyone must try this place. We live one hour 20 minutes away and would travel again just to eat here.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, superb service. Definitely will come again.

Sabai Thai in Brighton hasa well priced menu of food which is fairly standard but nice enough with a few added touches and a good choice for veggies. Nice wine list. Service fine, very friendly, some bits took a long time (i.e. bill and payment) whilst they were not very busy and they got a small part of our order wrong. But they were very sweet and generally attentive so no problem. Water feature could be a bit irritating if you were right next to it. Would go again as the atmosphere was good

Lovely food, good service. Second time I have eaten here.

Fabulous!!!!! Excellent food and service. Great value and atmosphere.

Awesome place. One of the best Thais we've had a while. Would definitely go back if we lived in Brighton.

Good friendly service, great location. Good range of Thai food with lovely atmosphere.

Great ambience, great service, great moo ping! This place is a real gem. Will be back!

Sabai Thai Gastrobar in Brighton was a great Thai Restauraunt.

The food was very good and the service was excellent.

We had Weeping beef and chicken for starters and a red Thai Curry and moissimans curry.

Would go back here, great little restaurant.

Pretty average.

Brighton has a very special Thai secret. Sabai Gastrobar is an amazing venue for fresh and authentic Thai food where the staff remember the client, look after you and serve wonderful food in a very cozy atmosphere. The grilled prawns in a sweet and sour sauce and duck in a curry sauce with pineapple was very flavourful. Meal ended with a warm chocolate cake and ginger ice cream.

Food was excellent! The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend if you are into Thai-food. Well done. :)

We booked the Sabai in Brighton after reading other positive reviews on Top Table. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in reds and natural woods and has an excellent water feature. The food itself is outstanding with the use of Tamarind adding something very special to a lot of the dishes. In particular the flame grilled King Prawns were spectacular. We will definitely visit again, especially as they serve Chilli Mojitos, which have to be tased if you are a fan of either Mojitos or chilli

Superb food, drinks (try the chilli lime vodka) and service - thoroughly recommend.

Sabai Thai Gastrobar is a must visit when in Brighton. Excellent food and service!

Great atmosphere, nice food :-)

Visited Sabai Thai Gastrobar in Brighton with a girl friend and we both loved the food. She had chicken with the fluffiest coconut rice ever, and I had the most delicious glass noodle prawn salad!!

Staff were really friendly and attentive and even accepted our special request of 3 dessert dishes mixed together so we could try several things! The atmosphere was buzzing for a Saturday night without being overcrowded or noisy.

Would definitely go again.

Had a lovely time, food was amazing, nice and spicy. We sat on the cushions on the floor, very traditional. Nice lighting too, staff could't doenough for us. thanks

Sabai Thai, Brighton. This is my favourite thai restaurant in brighton. I had the red curry and a mojito (which in my opinion are the best in brighton) and my vegetarian friend had the pad thai which she highly rated. They had a great singer there as well that night which added to the atmosphere. Would recommend to a friend and will return

Visited Sabai Thai in Brighton late on Sunday for a pre-gig meal. Food and service were excellent.

Sabai Thai. Great restaurant, quick service and very polite, great food, would recommend

This was a great venue located in a nice part of brighton, the food was great and the service was even better. We left feeling happy and the value for money was great. Would definately recommend this place and would definately be returning again in the near future

Sabai Thai Gastrobar seems a very popular destination judging by our recent visit - the restaurant was full and people were even dining outside (on a not very warm October evening). It is also very lively and seems to cater for large parties as well as the standard tables or 2 and 4. The mixed starter for 2 was probably the best of the food, the mains were perfectly acceptable but ultimately I've had better Thai meals. NIce atmosphere though and very friendly staff. Well worth a vist.

Sabai Thai in Brighton iNorth Lanes - The venue itself is great - cosy and unusual decor. However the food really let this place down. We started with aromatic duck which was fine. I pushed the boat out and had seabass for £15 - it sounded interesting with satay sauce (!) however the reality was that the fish did not taste very fresh and everything (broccoli/nuts)was fried and oily and I left most of it. My boyfriend had the massaman curry which lacked flavour and had poor quality meat.

Sabai Thai Gastrobar in Brighton is absolutely amazing The food was excellent, we chose one of the regional set menus to share which was excellent value for money and really scrumptious!! Good wine choice and exceptionally friendly staff. Will definatley go again.

Good restaurant, with expansive range of foods on offer, tucked away near the centre/Dome/Corn Exchange - which was really handy for the Comedy Festival. Good value and would certainly return.

small issue with timing - to be honest fault of toptable - but food was very good a nd good value.

please was clearly busy with lots of peo0ple turned away at door

Went early before going to Brighton Dome and had some gorgeous Thai food. I started with the excellent Weeping Tiger and then had a fabulous pork curry special. Excellent food and I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Sabai Brighton was great service and great food, recommend the red duck curry.

Great dinner & lovely place. Dispite being called to confirm the booking there was some confusion when we initially arrived although it was sorted out quickly. Definitely be going back.

Our first meal of our weekend trip to Brighton was Sabai Thai Gastrobar. We couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. The food was delicious. The staff very attentive but not in your face! We didn't feel rushed in any way and the venue had a lovely relaxed and friendly feel. If you like Thai food we are sure you will enjoy this restaurant immensely.

Went for lunch in Sabai Thai Gastrobar. We got a table outside in the sun next to the Pavilion Gardens which was very nice. The service was quick and friendly. We both got starters and main courses from the lunch menu. My partner is vegetarian and the selection for her was very good. The tofu satay starter was excellent, as tofu can be hit-and-miss. I had the seafood pad thai which had a nice selection of seafood, all very well cooked. Came to less than £20 for two of us, which was great value!

Food was excellent, almost as if I was in Thailand myself!

I ate at the Sabi Thai Gastrobar, with three friends and really enjoyed the food. The Coconut rice was amazing and the pork curry even better. Service was good but it was very busy and we did feel a little rushed at the end when they wanted the table.

All in all a very enjoyable experience. Price wise with starter, main no dessert but half a bottle of wine each and a cocktail to start the bill only came to £30 / head including tip. Impressed.

Wonderful food at Sabai Thai in Brighton, great service and ambience too, very reasonably priced.

Its the second time I have been to Sabai Thai Gastrobar in Brighton and the food was once again very good and very good ambiance. Service very attentive. Would definitely recommend!

Sabai Thai Gastrobar is one of the best restaurants I've been to. Lovely atmosphere, food was amazing and the staff were attentive and made our visit a lovely experience.
