Terre a terre offers the best vegetarian food that I have ever eaten. it's imaginative, flavoursome and good value for money. the staff also had a bottle of champagne on ice for our anniversary as requested, which made it an extra-special occasion

The best veggy restaurant in Brighton!

We visited Terre a Terre in Brighton for the 3rd time last night. We are never disappointed with the food, service or ambience. Once again a very good evening.

I've been wanting to try this place for along time and I wasn't disappointed! None of the three of us are vegetarians but we all enjoy vegetarian food.

Excellent meal - the tapas cannot be faulted. Excellent dessert wine recommendations also. Consistently good. If you're a meat eater, you won't miss meat when you dine at this veggie restaurant.

Terre a Terre Brighton The food looked amazing when it was served - really great presentation and appetising. Nice selection of tastes and textures. Good size portions. Nice chunky chips. Lovely chardonnay served with the tapas. Only downside the food could have been a bit hotter and perhaps a bit less coriander used. Nice staff, venue and music.

Terre a Terre was as good as ever- delicious food wonderfully presented. Great service as well.

Terre a Terre in Brighton is a delightful vegetarian restaurant. The food is made up of ingredients that I have not heard of but are brought together into a wonderful taste sensation. The mince pie starter was delightful whilst the raj roti was a wonderfully freshly flavoured dish. The best part was the desert, a recommendation from the waiter, of nosey parkin - just absolutely wonderful. This is a restaurant that we go back to time and again and neither of us are vegetarian.

Terre at Terre in Brighton is lovely and worth every penny. One of my favourite restaurants ever!

Living in London, I have to make a special trip to eat at Terre a Terre; but I simply cannot go there as often as I would like. All you Brighton residents shoud be going there every day!

Terre a Terre Brighton Sussex. amaqzing choice of veggie dishes. The Tapas selection is not to be missed. innovative exciting cooking to gladden the palate of even the most confirmed meat eater.

I hadnt been to Terre a Terre in Brighton for a few years so took my best friend for lunch yesterday. The Tapas, Chips and Wine deal was great value and the tapas was really interesting, filling and tasty so yum. My only criticism would be with the service which I would describe as friendly but inattentive! It was 2pm on a Thursday so not full so they need to work on this.

As always Terre e Terre comes up trumps. excellent food but a little on the pricey side. still my favourite however!

Terre a Terre Brighton never ceases to delight us. Spectacular was a word used! Champagne on arrival for hubby on his 40th! Perfect

Great food, friendly staff. Perfect evening!

Terre a Terre, Brighton,

A fantastic treat. Don't be put off by it's veggie theme, actually an incredible eating experience. highly recommended. Get the Tappas board.

Terre a Terre currenyl have a comedy menu (to celebrate the comedy festival in Brighton). The menu is superb value. It it 90% of the quality and fuss you expect from Terre a Terre at 50% of the price - that's pretty good. My only criticism: There are no light (salady) options on the special offer menu. We don't always want to eat loads!

The Terre a Terre in Brighton was one of the best restaurants I've been to and was definitely the best vegetarian meal I've eaten. We chose a couple of tapas dishes instead of starters and they filled us up so much we nearly couldn't finish our lovely mains! We had the Spice Dust Lavash Tanoor and Original Hoi Sin Tofu followed by mains of Terre à Tiffin and Rosti Raj all of which I can highly recommend. The service was great too. I'll definitely be going back when I'm next in Brighton.

Food was great, had the platter with many different choices. Relaxed atmosphere, polite staff, would definitely go back.

A "Vegan" friend who is quite fussy when it comes to food, recommended Terre a Terre. I had extremely high hopes and was not disappointed. Everything on the menu looked amazing and as I was finding it hard to choose, the delightful server recommended the tapas selection.. which was an excellent choice. I would also recommend the puddings. We will definitely return.

Terre a Terre, Brighton. Went with friends who dived into amazing opening cocktails. Cherry liqueur fizz, lychee blush (non-alcoholic), mint majito. The wine carafe is perhaps the only item that wouldn't rank as superb. Arriving beautifully presented in pairs on a white oblong china plate the tapas are diverse and mouth watering. Be prepared for friends to help themselves to yours if you're not quick enough. Will be going again, no hesitation.

As good as I remembered! Great food without being pretentious. The menu can be a bit overwhelming as each dish is described in great detail, I haven't had to concentrate that hard to read in a roomful of people since being at school! Having said that the food did not disappoint and great use of herbs, spices and flavour combinations. Good service.

Toptable offer not useful, they have the same Tapas offer automatically. Food is good but rich. Many sides the main laxk variety.

As per usual, food superb, fantastic staff nothing to much, a bit expensive but well worth it, see you soon.

Terre a Terre in Brighton is an institution. As a vegetarian restaurant with a very ambitious menu, it can be hard to order with confidence. So, this offer, which provides a taster of many dishes from the a la carte menu is a wonderful idea which takes the pressure off (the carafe of wine also helps - the choice there a bit simpler - red or white). The chunky chips were the best we have ever had and every dish on the tapas menu gave a different and distinctive taste. Quality and enough quantity.

Excellent food wine

I really enjoyed my meal at Terre a Terre in Brighton, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, and there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I went for the offer of 'tapas, chips and a carafe of wine for £36', followed by a pudding, and it was honestly one of the best meals I've had in Brighton. I'm a veggie, but I don't think meat-eaters would even notice that there are only vegetarian dishes as the flavours are so good! Only downside is it's slightly overpriced (chips for a fiver??)..

Terre a Terre Brughton Pleasantly surprised as a butcher I thought I would give it a try and it was tasty and well presented D H Exeter

Terre a Terre has a wonderfully imaginative menu that doesn't miss meat in any way. Can highly recommend the mixed starter, and the fried halloumi in batter. Service is friendly, and a nice, relaxed atmosphere, though perhaps a little noisy at busy times. Have been several times, and is definitely worth making the trip to Brighton for. Looking forward to going again.

Lovely meal at Terre a Terre. Been there before and would go again. Tasty food, good service but let down by the noisy environment so it was difficult to hear the other person at times. Would definitely recommend.

Very good as usual, food first class as is the welcome and service

Execellent food, good range of dishes on the menu to keep a non vegetarian like me interested but maybe a little over priced. Would not stop me going back though.

very tasty food and prompt service at Terre a Terre, Brighton

Although I'm always happy to find a vegetarian restaurant, I must admit I was disappointed with this place. We ordered the tapas dish, which was £21, and it was nowhere near interesting nor expansive enough to justify its price. We had assumed we had finished one course, but apparently that was all we were getting! It was a mix of Indian and Japanese styles, but it seemed a very safe option. Disappointed.

Brilliant. The tapas deal was a great way to taste lots of different things. We ordered a few extra dishes between 2 which was probably a little over the top as we were extremely full! Had high expectations after loving the Tere a Tere the first time round a few years back - it didn't disappoint. Amazing flavours, great staff and a lovely mid-week atmosphere.

I've written so many glowing reviews of Terre a Terre in the past and it is, without doubt, my favourite restaurant... But this visit was slightly different. The cocktail I ordered (a cherry martini) as sickly sweet. I've never had such a sweet martini before. The menu is now more focussed around the starter and light-bites, the choice of mains was slim. And, although teh food was still very good, I had the uneasy feeling it didn't have quite the range and balance I expect. I hope I'm wrong!

Fantastic food, and enjoyed the great value pre-show deal.

Excellent and imaginative.

Food exciting, service and ambience excellent! The staff are friendly and very helpful without being over familiar. What a wonderful place to eat!

I went to Terre a Terre yesteday with my girlfriend for our one year anniversary. The food was absolutely sublime...there were so many different flavours on the plate! The pistachio dessert with chocolate sorbet was mouth-watering and my server was both knowledgeable and very sweet. Despite being a student with little money and having to save up to go, I would say it was totally worth it!

We went to Terre a Terre on 28 Apr for supper. We had the £36 offer for 2 and although food flavours were amazing and the atomsphere convivial and relaxed we found that we were fairly hungry about an hour and a half later. I think next time we'll go for the a la carte so that we can get a bit of substance to the meal.

We had the set price tapas, chips and a carafe of wine for £36 and it proved to be an excellent meal. It looked gorgeous, and contained lots of interesting flavours.

Terre a Terre was good food, although a bit posh and over done. The sizes are quite small for the prices. Althouhg I would recommend the spinach rostie. I wouldn't desscribe this as hearty vegetarian food, rather pretentiuos veggie food and overpriced. Staff are freindly enough, and it's very child friendly.

As a meat lover this was one I was not sure I was going to enjoy. But...... the food was amazing. Very enjoyable.

Terre a Terre in Brighton did not disappoint. Lively restaurant, unusual menu and delicious food. Good value.

My second visit and loved it as much as the first. Very friendly staff and food was tasty and nicely presented.

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants my husband and I have been to. Everything was fantastic and a very original menu.

Delectable food at Terre a Terre in Brighton. The Carrot panna cotta is unbelievable, so tasty and very clever. The Arepas corn cakes tasted great but not as special. For mains I went for Wonders of the Weald which was very tasty but the portions a little small; my boyfriend had an Asian dish involving noodle broth and egg rolls and the egg rolls which was really delicious. Chocolate brownie with peanut praline ice cream for dessert was amazing. Great food, great evening, plates could be bigger.

Ate at Terre a terre in Brighton this week. Very interesting and innovative menu, excellent service and very reasonable. The restaurant was busy (great) but the acoustics were bad and I hate when i have to shout to be heard. Overall very good restaurant ...pity it is so far away!
