The Cinnamon Club in Westminster is an institution and has high levels of service as befits its reputation. We had the tasting menu with fine wines and had a very enjoyable meal. On the downside, the wines were not spectacular- none really stood out and we often found the small servings insufficient. The food was very good, with the red deer lion and wagyu beef the standouts. I wasn't blown away but it was very good overall.

The Cinammon Club, London has a fantastic atmosphere, great cocktails and excellent service. However we were disappointed with the set menu - we expected a lot more flavour from Indian cuisine and found the food to be rather bland and uninspiring. Perhaps ordering from the a la carte menu is a better option. Also the ladies toilets were not functioning very well on the night. Overall a great place, but there could be some improvements.
We were expecting portion sizes to be small but they were just the right size for 3 courses. Great blend of spices used and service was excellent.
I have to say i was extremely impressed with the excellent food and services offered by The Cinnamon Club; it will now be one of my favourite dinning venues either alone or with close friends.
I was really impressed with this place. Going with the top table special menu deal, I did not know what to expect, but both the food and the service were excellent.
The Cinnamon Club in London's food was excellent along with very good service. The atmosphere was slightly lacking, along with reasonably priced wines.
Had a fab time at the Cinnamon Club, London. The food was brilliant through out the meal. Very pleasant surroundings and staff. I highly recommend this venue if you like good food and wine.
Another impeccable meal at the Cinnamon Club. The balance of choice on the toptable menu is great - there are always several things I want to try and it's difficult having to only choose one! The food is delicious, perfectly spiced and portioned. Service is polite and efficient without being pompous or overbearing.
Although booking the top table offer of 2 courses for £22 we ended up having the tasting menu because it looked so good. The dishes were superb especially the welsh lamb and the pidgeon. Service was impecable.
Dinner tonight at the Cinnamon Club in London was excellent! All the food was delicious and the service was brilliant. The 2/3 course offer is definitely worth it!
Cinnamon Club London
We eat off a shortened set menu, with a choice of 3-4 options per course. We greatly enjoyed the food and cocktail. Service was excellent.
I had a lovely meal and great service at The Cinnamon Club. The cocktail was nice and the food was excellent.
Went for the 3 courses for £24, great service, nice restaurant, would definitely go back.
Booked the lunch time deal for two that comes with a free cocktail. Food excellent. Service was friendly and professional without being over-familiar. I will definitely eat here again.
excellent food and service. wonderful ingredients is amazing value.. The 3 course meal for 24 pounds
Superb food and faultless service as ever. If anything - thanks to a better choice of dishes available with the TT offer, this was even better than before
My wife and I came to the Cinnamon Club expecting amazing food, atmosphere and service. We were not disappointed - all aspects of the evening were fantastic and we would both fully recommmend it
I went with a friend to The Cinnamon Club in Westminster; we both really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant & the service. We booked in under the offer "3 courses for £24" which worked out to be good value for what we ate & so I would definitely recommend others to try it. My starter (venison) & main (chicken) we're delicious, but the desert wasn't too fantastic! The only other negative is that my friend is vegetarian and under this offer his choice was extremely restricted.
Lovely night out at The Cinnamon Club. Food was really good and the service was excellent.
The food was fabulous as always. It never disappoints and the 3 course deal with a London lemonade cocktail was excellent value for money.
Dinner at The Cinnamon Club in London was a good choice for a special birthday celebration. A drink in the bar was a nice start with a cocktail at happy hour prices. The service was exceptional as we were collected from the bar and lead to the table. The food was wonderful, an amazing mix of flavours, textures and colours. We all chose to go for 3 courses and there was a lot of cross tasting. Being heavy wine drinkers it was the cost of the wine that made the final bill quite high.
The Cinnamon Club, London. £24 for three course + Lemonade Cocktail.
Table Thursday @ 6:30pm. Lovely setting in Westminster Library. Reduced menu of 3 Starters, 4 Mains, 3 Desserts. We ordered everything on the menu in our table of four and every dish was delightful. Ended up spending £50 a head with Wine, drinks, sides and service. Fantastic, attentive, unfussy service.
Venue started to fill up and get busy about 7pm with great atmosphere. Very good experience.
We went for lunch at the Cinnamon Club in Westminster on a cold Saturday, so weren't expecting many other people to be there. However it filled up nicely. Food was good, interesting and not at all like your usual Indian joint. We got a deal but otherwise is possibly a little overpriced for the small portions. Having diners face the massive walls isn't ideal, could set up the tables for two so that people sit diagonally/next to each other rather than opposite. The toilets were particularly posh!
Very good food & service - our third visit. However, the ambience was let down at our evening dinner yesterday with very poor standard of dress by customers. Sadly several customers (the Cinnamon does state a "smart" dress code) in scruffy jeans & other casual attire with no attempt to smarten up for such a fine restaurant. It did take the edge off the evening.
excellent as ever - yet again a new 'take' on Indian cuisine - and one obest dining experiences in London
It has been a decade since I have been here in the evening, and I have to admit that it isn't as vibrant or as interesting as a lunchtime. I was also appalled to find that my "Top Table" special offer didn't apply at the time I dined - 7.30. I was therefore presented with a near £200 bill (for two), when I believed I could eat from the "Top Table" set course meal. I shan't fall for that one again. The food was as ever, excellent. The service not as good as the food. And the ambience...well....
I have eaten quite often at Cinnamon Club, which offers smart modern Indian cooking in a former library building. Had the "Light Lunch" menu of 4 courses. The small pieces of lamb were tender, and the halibut nicely presented in a herb coating. There was a mint sorbet between courses and a yogurt brulee to finish. The Indian shiraz "Sula Dindori" was smooth, after being opened for a while. Service was very attentive (staff said they got all the 12.5% service charge). Refined customer base.
It was my first, and hopefully not my last, visit to the Cinnamon Club. I met a friend for a cocktail before dinner (happy hour at the bar, so half price) then we went upstairs to the main dining room, which was huge and had a great buzz. We had three courses for £24 (great value Top Table deal) and each was very tasty, including the chef's complimentary pre-starter. Fab bottle of wine and a very pleasant evening. Nothing to stop me going back!
The Cinnamon Club, Westminster lived up to all its reviews. The food was unusual and excellent and the service was very good too. Although rather pricey I would definitely return and would heartily recommend.
Great tasting food, perfect service, would highly reccomend.
The Cinnamon Club in Westminster always delivers fantastic Indian food with a twist. Love the TT offer with a free cocktail. We always try to take it in the Library bar (it currently has a 2 for 1 on drinks between 5-7pm). Can't recommend enough.
The meal was good value as we went for the 3 Courses for £24 deal. Food was good, not excellent.
Food was excellent- curried rump steak lovely! wine is pricey so make use of special offers
The Cinnamon Club London All 4 of us really enjoyed our meal here. Every bite was full of flavour. Had good Indian wine too-which I didn't know existed.
Scrambled eggs and salmon on toast with coffee for two. Breakfast with a former colleague and superstar - priceless; for everything else, there's MasterCard.
The Cinnamon Club, Westminster was a real find, the set menu was good value for the location, every part was delicious (most notably the paneer and baby corn) and the cocktails were delectable and half price as it was happy hour. Service was polite and prompt, toilets lovely and decor welcoming, I will definitely be returning.
Wow! Amazing food in a fantastic environment! The 3 course offer was really good and the selection available on the set menu was great! Would definitely recommend and go back!
As ever, the Cinnamon Club was a treat. My wife hadn't been since it was Westminster Library, so it was nostalgic for her. The restaurant was quite busy even though we wwere early, but service was efficient and friendly. Considering that we had a cracking deal (£24 for 3 courses) we got a decent table. The food is beutifully balanced, with the flavours and spices all remaining distinct while making a harmonious whole - a real skill. I am about to hit the limit so all I can say is: go!
The Cinnamon Club, London - lovely friendly staff in the Library Bar where we has pre dinner drinks - the Westminster Royale was divine! We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and cannot wait to return to try the Tasting menu!
Our dinner at The Cinnamon Club in Great Smith Street Westminster London last night was delicious and great value .
The service was also attentive.
We would defintely go back here for dinner .
Excellent as usual, will be back
We were 30 mins late to our appointment due to the rain and tube delays, but they were nice about it. I found the set menu good but somehow limited. The fish and meats were good, but the sauces were exceptional.
Setting was beautiful. Food gorgeous apart from the breads (some dry , some a bit too much ghee) which were disappointing. Wine expensive.
The Cinnamon Club was overall an enjoyable lunch. The red deer main was delicious as was the special dessert selection plate for two. The lobster starter was disappointing. Would have expected more for the hefty bill.
We were very excited to dine at the Cinnamon Club though were very disappointed especially with the service. Our coats were not taken from us and the bottle of wine was left on the table for us to pour ourselves. The food was also below the level expected for a restaurant of such stature as the Cinnamon Club. There are much better and more exciting restaurants out there for the price.
Busy and buzzing as always, the Cinnamon Club lived up to expectation - superb food in great surroundings, attentive and efficient service. Wine prices are staggering but the open wine (50cl carafe) was quite acceptable. We turned up 40 minutes early but were easily accommodated, without fuss. Will definitely go back - for a special occasion!
Fantastic value for money, beautiful food. professional service
Cinnamon Kitchen as usual pleases especially at the special offer price...
The Cinnamon Club in London is an ideal location for business lunch with partners from Westminster and Whitehall. Very attractive setting in a disused public library, very efficient service and delicious food from the fusion cuisine. It can get rather lively at lunchtime so picking a quiet table is essential for serious conversation over lunch.
