Tamarind, the Indian restaurant in Mayfair. From this month, a new wine tasting menu – pairing fragrantly spiced Indian cuisine with fine wines is available.

For just £48 per person, discerning diners can enjoy a superlative four-course meal, with each course meticulously matched to a specific glass of wine. Tea, coffee and petit fours are also included.

The new wine pairing menu will change regularly, according to the availability of seasonal ingredients, but here is the inaugural one:

Grilled Scallops Flavoured with mixed peppercorns and fennel, topped with oven roasted peppers in olive oil, served on spiced tomato chutney
