Award winning seafood restaurant One-O-One is delighted to welcome Dominic Chapman, Chef Patron of The Beehive, the two AA Rosette restaurant and pub in Berkshire, for a three day guest chef event.
Dominic has collaborated with Executive Chef of One-O-One, Pascal Proyart to create three tasting menus available from tomorrow Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st May. For lunch, the menus will be priced at £39 for four plates and £59 for six plates. For dinner, there will also be an eight plate menu priced at £79. Each menu will incorporate elements of both chef’s distinctive cookery styles.
Diners can expect signature dishes from One-O-One such as the King Crab Royale, made famous by Pascal, served with native lobster, Surrey farm beef, asparagus, bisque and pinot noir; and scallops, langoustines, foie gras laqué, carrot, citrus, vanilla and salty fingers.
The array of dishes from Dominic will include wild rabbit lasagne with wood blewit and chervil; and poached river Loddon rainbow trout with green beans, potato, radish and quail egg. There will also be an optional wine pairing for each menu. The combination of ingredients, flavours and techniques should create an unique dining experience for guests.
Dominic Chapman has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens including Kensington Palace and the Fat Duck in Berkshire before taking up the role of Head Chef at Heston Blumenthal’s Hind Head in Bray in 2004.
In 2007, he moved to The Royal Oak and was awarded a Michelin star. In 2014, Dominic became Chef Patron The Beehive in the village of White Waltham. The Beehive has received much commendation, including receiving two AA Rosettes in 2015 and receiving recognition in the UK Gastro Pub Awards, 2016 as a’Best Newcomer’ finalist.
