May Fair Kitchen has re-launched this May, with a brand new menu and design.
The new menus and interior are inspired by the Mediterranean, with the tapas restaurant and lounge bar creating a relaxed atmosphere, and the new private dining room and terrace both adding a touch of elegance.
We had the chance to sample the new menu at its launch night party, designed for sharing and made up of sharing tapas dishes, including smoked lamb carpaccio with crème fraiche, Chilean sea bass with padron shiso salsa, a trio of bruschetta, and, a truly delicious lobster risotto with cherry tomato and seared scallops, to name a few.
Mayfair Kitchen also had an impressive selection of their new drinks on offer throughout the night, including both a red and white sangria, decorated with flowers and strawberries, red and white wine, and the restaurant’s signature cocktail which has been designed to emphasise the best of the Mediterranean flavours – Amalfi made with lemon, limoncello, honey syrup, mint and topped with prosecco.
On the launch night, the restaurant lived up to its ethos of simple, light, fresh, delicious food to be shared with friends – and we look forward to going back again soon.
