LOBOS Soho, the second’garito’ (Spanish neighbourhood joint) from the team behind LOBOS Meat and Tapas in Borough, will open on Monday, 14th November at 48 Frith Street, W1D 4SF, next door to Ronnie Scott’s.
Situated in a Grade II listed building,the overall look and feel will be similar to the Borough site. The first floor restaurant will feature an open plan kitchen, a mix of booths and bench seating with tall windows overlooking Frith Street.
On the ground floor, the bar will have a dedicated space for jamon carving and charcuterie and offer both drinks and the full menu. For a more casual experience, the basement is, more intimate space with a bar serving drinks and nibbles
LOBOS Soho will feature signature cuts of Iberico pork (presa, secreto, fillet) and chuleton that have made the Borough restaurant a hit, as well as several new dishes exclusive to Soho.
Among them are new sharing dishes: Lobster and chicken pot, Grilled chorizo board (including the Basque Txistorra and Chorizo Criollo from Galicia among the more familiar varieties) and Slow roasted Castillan milk-fed lamb. LOBOS Soho will also feature new seafood tapas: Salted cod with leek sauce, Octopus with sweet potato and chorizo and Seafood rice with squid and prawns.
LOBOS Soho will take bookings but tables will also be kept for walk-ins. It will be on soft launch from Monday, 7th November to Saturday, 12th November with 50% off food for lunch and dinner. It will then open for dinner from Monday, 14th November, while lunch will still be at 50% off food until Saturday, 19th November (closed Sundays in November).
