This Christmas, Aubaine, the all-day dining brasserie with its own patisserie and boulangerie , will be bringing a special French Noël twist to all of their London restaurants from late November, for a festive taste of the Provençal.
A new seasonal range of Aubaine’s cakes and patisserie items from its own bakery will be on offer to enjoy in the warmth of the nine restaurants or to take away. The festive delicacies, crafted by Aubaine’s Chef Patissier, Alix Andre, include warming winter twists on traditional French delights such as Christmas tree macarons with flavours of macha and larger cakes, which are perfect for celebrations.
A traditional dark and white chocolate Buche de Noël is available to purchase from the bakery counters in each restaurant, for up to ten people to share, whilst guests can also celebrate l’Epiphanie in traditional French style with Aubaine’s own Galette des Rois, featuring buttery pastry and almond cream.
Christmas Set Menu
A special festive set menu will be on offer across all of Aubaine’s restaurants, featuring a selection of traditional Noël flavours and ingredients. For £19.50 guests can enjoy two courses of winter comforts such as Poached egg with butternut squash tart & red port reduction or Smoked salmon, beetroot tartare & horseradish with watercress salad to start, followed by one three mains including a traditional Ballotine of roast turkey, Alsace bacon, confit potato, sage & chestnut jus or Provençal Black truffle tortellini, chestnut velouté & crushed chestnut.
Diners can round off their meal with an dessert for just £4 extra. For a seasonal twist on a classic, Aubaine’s pastry chefs have created a miniature Tarte Tropezienne with winter spiced cream, or a lighter Green tea and Yuzu Macaron Christmas tree. Those looking for something more traditional can enjoy a rich individual Chocolate Buche de Noël.
Aubaine’s very own white mulled wine will also return to offer an extra blanket of warmth. Providing a spicy twist on a Christmas classic, the warming white blend will showcase a specially created blend of winter spices.
Aubaine can also help you to curate your perfect Christmas occasion, taking the stress out of Christmas. Larger groups and parties will be able to make use of the private dining rooms of the restaurants, and choose from two special menus from either £36 or £45.
What’s more, before the end of November, guests booking a table of more than six people will be provided with a complimentary glass of prosecco or white mulled wine upon arrival, and those booking a private dining room in December will receive a voucher for £50 to enjoy at Aubaine in January.
