This Christmas, Carluccio’s have hand-picked a selection of gifts, created by Italian producers they know and love.
IL MASSIMO (£75) – A statement blue box brimming with a wonderful array of Carluccio’s treats – a bottle of Prosecco, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Porcini Mushroom Sauce, Wild Boar Ragu, Chocolate Coated Clementines, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Stars, Umbrian Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a Panettone Milano.
Carluccio’s Gift Boxes
Packaged and tied with ribbon, there are plenty of gift boxes all ready to go.
THE BEST OF PIEMONTE (£35) – A contemporary gift of Barolo and Extra Dark Hazelnut Truffles. The Piemontese take food seriously. Step out of the Barolo zone in the Langhe hills and the grapes grown there can’t take the Barolo name. It’s the same with the Piemonte hazelnuts in Carluccio’s Truffles – there are strict rules about where, how and when they’re harvested.
OLIO E OLIVE (£19.95) – Taggiasca Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a Wooden Bowl. The olives are only grown in the Ligurian Riviera and you won’t find them anywhere else.
VIN SANTO E CANTUCCI (£25) – The Cantucci are baked in the hilltop village of Montalcino to a one hundred-year-old recipe using local honey and almonds, while the grapes for the Vin Santo are grown in the vineyards below.
LUI E LEI (£23.95) – No kitchen is complete without this classic combination of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar.
PER LA TAVOLA (£19.95) –Umbrian Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Ceramic Oil Drizzler. The Bartolini family have been making oil for six generations.
IL CACCIATORE (£14.95) – The Hunters’ Trio. Three meaty sauces – Wild Boar, Hare and Venison. Serve with Pappardelle Pasta or on top of Polenta. Comfort food – Italian style.
FUNGHI PORCINI (£11.95) – Porcini Mushrooms, Porcini Oil and seven Antonio Carluccio Recipe Cards. Porcini (the king of mushrooms) are highly prized for their flavour.
