Whenever I think of Robinsons drinks I think of a small boy in grey shorts, an S-belt holding them up and a pair of Startrite sandals on his socked feet. Me in fact.
Often overlooked when men gather to talk of Marmite, sherbert flying saucers and other boy stuff, Robinsons remains a great British institition that no one has yet dared tamper with.
However the makers themselves move with the times and have now launched their first squash made entirely from naturally sourced ingredients. Robinsons be Natural™ is designed to appeal to mums and kids alike.
Robinsons was the first squash brand to respond to consumer demand by removing all artificial colours and flavours from its products and Robinsons be Natural™, is a squash made from only naturally sourced ingredients and free from preservatives and artificial sweeteners, flavours and colours.
We’re told that Robinsons also hope the launch of be Natural™ will further build upon the historically strong sales of squash during summer as parents recognise the need to keep children hydrated during the warmer months.
Being free from artificial preservatives, Robinsons be Natural™ must be stored in the refrigerator after opening and consumed within three weeks. Which shouldn’t be a problem in our house, three hours more like.
Available in three fruit flavours – Orange & Passionfruit, Apple & Strawberry, and Blackcurrant & Pear – Robinsons be Natural™ is priced from £1.49 (MRSP[i]) and available at ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Somerfield, Tesco, and Waitrose.
