A limited number of tickets are now on general sale for Quo Vadis & Friends: Phil Howard, in association with Journey’s End wines, taking place on Wednesday, 28th July.
An ‘accidental chef’, whose initial plan was to become a microbiologist, Phil Howard built his career working with everyone from the Roux brothers to Marco Pierre White and Simon Hopkinson (at whose Bibendum he cooked alongside Jeremy Lee), before opening legendary restaurant The Square – aged 24 – with Nigel Platts-Martin.
He went on to hold two Michelin stars at The Square for 17 years before selling it in 2016 to concentrate on his other restaurants with business partner Rebecca Mascarenhas – Michelin-starred Elystan Street, Kitchen W8 and Church Road.
In May 2021, Phil launched OTTO, a home delivery pasta service – initially in South West London but with plans to go nationwide in due course.
The event will be held in the 2nd floor Quo Vadis ‘Marx’ private dining room, the connected Blue Room and the first floor Club Restaurant. After dinner, guests are welcome to move down into the QV Club for the evening to continue the fun.
The Quo Vadis & Friends series, now in its fifth year, sees Chef Proprietor Jeremy Lee invite some of the most talented wooden spoon wielders in the country, to join him in Soho to cook for Quo Vadis’ members and non-members alike.
This year, Jeremy has invited some of the most exciting up-and-coming chefs including Max Rocha, Cynthia Shanmugalingam and Whyte Rushen, along with Erchen Chang of BAO fame and industry titans Phil Howard and Stephen Harris.
Tickets for future events are put on sale one month ahead of each event, with one week’s booking exclusivity given to Quo Vadis members.
