The Lanesborough London, housed in a Regency townhouse, has just announced the launch of a new Sunday lunch at The Lanesborough Grill, the recently opened flagship modern British restaurant with acclaimed British Chef, Shay Cooper at the helm.

Properly British, The Lanesborough Grill  Sunday lunch is about  large joints of the finest quality British beef, expertly cooked and carved at the table from ornate, antique trolleys, alongside all the very best trimmings.

Although anyone not ready for a proper roasting can be assured thenew Sunday lunch menu also features a good selection of Shay’s best loved, modern British dishes with produce selected from handpicked artisan suppliers from across the British Isles.

To help celebrate the launch,  The Lanesborough London has partnered with Apsley House, that allowss guests to combine a historical tour of the Duke of Wellington’s palatial

ancestral London home with Sunday lunch at The Lanesborough Grill.

Sunday lunch at The Lanesborough Grill is priced at £70 for three courses.

Dorset crab, buckwheat pancake, Isle of Wight tomatoes, lovage emulsion

Potted guinea fowl terrine, toasted brioche, sour cherry preserve

Lindisfarne oysters, escabeche vegetables, smoked paprika mayonnaise

Native lobster risotto, braised kombu, fennel, pickled lemon

Main Courses:

Roast sirloin of Hereford beef, horseradish and apple cream, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes

Roast salt marsh lamb, shepherds pie, charred hispi, green olive and seaweed tapenade

Beef Wellington, salt baked carrots, red wine sauce

Line caught seabass, glazed leek, razor clam, cuttlefish, Corish seafood bisque

Scottish halibut, courgette blossom, red shrimp, light herb emulsion
