This summer, D&D London is embracing the Paris 2024 Olympic games with a series of Olympic-inspired menu and cocktail specials across its restaurants.
From the opening ceremony to the final medal count, diners will have the chance to experience the thrill of the games through exclusive dishes that capture the essence and excitement of this global event.
Throughout the games (Monday 22nd July – Sunday 11th August), each D&D London restaurant will showcase 1-2 specials, varying from drinks, starters, mains, and desserts, crafted to honour the spirit of the international competition.
This initiative aims to bring the sporting spirit to the heart of London, providing culinary delights that showcase the talented chefs and bartenders throughout the diverse and international D&D London group.
From refreshing cocktails inspired by the host city, to dishes that celebrate various cuisines, the D&D London Olympic specials promise to be a feast for the senses. Highlights include:
- 20 Stories: ‘Athena Fizz’ – Remy VSOP, creme de cassis and fraise, peychauds bitters, garnished with golden honey dust
- 100 Wardour Street: ‘Gold Medal’ – Chocolate crumble and raspberry two ways and sorbet
- Angelica & Crafthouse: ‘Sprint to Sweetness’ – Strawberry, elderflower and champagne tart and yoghurt sorbet
- Bluebird Chelsea: ‘The Olympic Breakfast’ – Glazed bacon chop, cheese and onion hash brown, Scotch egg, vine tomatoes, onion rings, 5 Beans and mushroom
- Butler’s Wharf: ‘The Olympic Dome’ – Profiteroles filled with strawberry compote, diplomat cream and fresh strawberries
- Coq d’Argent: ‘Triathlon Tartare’ – Trio of fish tartare salmon, sea bream and tuna
- German Gymnasium: ‘The Olympian’ – Saffron-infused Tanqueray, jasmine syrup, italicus, lemon juice topped up with rose-infused Mediterranean tonic /fresh, citrusy and bubbly
- Fiume: ‘Flame’- Flaming daiquiri with berries, Havana 3, lime juice, sugar, berries, thyme and Pussers rum
- Le Pont de La Tour: ‘Tartelettes de Champion’ – 5 mini tartlets with savoury fillings resembling 5 colours of the Olympic ring with respectful garnishes
- Madison: ‘Athlete’s Elixir’ – Truffle Gin and Remy 1738, Provence rose syrup, and peach bitters
- Orelle: ‘Olympic Shot Put’ – White chocolate mousse, dacquoise, strawberry sorbet, meringue and candy floss
- Orrery: ‘Olympic Torch’ – Remy Martin VSOP Cognac, Angostura bitters, sugar, NV Lanson Black Label Champagne
- Paternoster: ‘Olympic Ring’ – With 5 pan seared scallops 5 flavoured coloured purees, pea, blackberry, bell pepper, black truffle, curried cauliflower and samphire to finish
- Sartoria: ‘Olympic Dome’ – Served in a dark chocolate sphere, with hazelnut mousse and hot salted caramel sauce
- Skylon: ‘Walk of Flame’– Grey Goose White peach and Rosemary Vodka, Noble Rot Old Tom Gin, Mezcal Amores, peach liqueur, cranberry and lemon bitters, sugar cube with a dash of lemonade
- Quaglino’s: ‘The Torch’ – A dark chocolate mousse, with blackberry and cinnamon compote, white chocolate ash and conference pear.
In addition to these, German Gymnasium is adorned with Olympic-themed décor, creating an ambience that mirrors the unity of the games, perfect for pre- or post-event dining.
Fiume patrons can watch the games live from Battersea Power Station and enjoy takeaway dishes, allowing guests to cheer on athletes while enjoying quality food and drinks.
