This Easter, 20th of April, GAIA Mayfair, is celebrating with the art of gifting — offering guests traditional Tsoureki, celebratory mains and dessert, and the joyful egg-cracking ritual of Tsougrisma.
Guests can expect specials prepared by GAIA’s expert culinary team exclusively for Easter Day (Καλο Πάσχα!), served in addition to the à la carte menu.
Diners will be able to enjoy a traditional roasted Greek-style lamb served with potatoes, capturing the soul of Greek feasting, rich in flavour, slow cooked to perfection, and served with seasonal accompaniments.
For a special sweet treat, Gaia will be offering Tsoureki with Baklava Ice-cream: a delicious, sweet bread, infused with the delightful essence of Mastiha and Mahlep and delightful Easter eggs for the little ones to enjoy.
GAIA will be embracing the customs of this sacred season, through the baking and gifting of Tsoureki – soft, aromatic, and braided with care, embodying the richness of their cultural heritage, and symbolising the spirit of sharing and togetherness across generations.
In keeping with tradition, on arrival guests can partake in the activity of “Tsougrisma”, a traditional Greek game played with clinking red eggs at the start of a meal, symbolising the timeless union of joy, tradition, prosperity, and the promise of good fortune.
