Aperol painted the town orange during their biggest Aperol Spritz Social of the year at Netil 360, East London . Foodepedia were invited to the event that promised to’spritz up’ city dwellers.

Guests were treated to Aperol-infused ice cream from the Chin Chin Lab, orange manicures by WAH nails, glitter facial embellishments, social games, hands-on Aperol Spritz masterclasses with Italian bartenders and, of course, plenty of perfectly prepared Aperol Spritz.

With a buffet of Cicchetti spreads (Italian small plates) by renowned Peckham-based Italian dining hall Forza Win, the event proved to be as tasty as it was refreshing.

However, there is a catch: Getting your name on the guest list seems to be a pretty mean task in itself. Aperol Spritz lovers are encouraged to apply for their place online, which is soon followed up by an email informing whether or not they have been successful.

With numbers being very limited, getting through this’random selection process’ seems to be a challenge.

Overall, however, a challenge worth taking up on; the event proved to be a good excuse to make the most of the after-work moment and add some fizz to London’s social scene.

As well as the Aperol Spritz Social event, Aperol Spritz-lovers will be able to enjoy a long, orange summer, with pop-up Aperol bars and events across London, from Peckham to Camden, serving up the ultimate sundowner moment to be enjoyed with friends.
