Ealing Gin Toasts Summer and Friendship With A New Celebratory Martini. Exercise your inner James Bond with a classic Martini that may both stir and shake you.
To welcome a summer where friendship and camaraderie will be celebrated with more gusto than ever, Ealing Gin has created a new Martini.
It is part inspired by the distillers’ own family celebrations (“which always kick off with a Kir Royaleâ€Â) and by the fabulous summer parties of the Jazz Age where the Gin Ricky (gin, limes and soda water) took centre stage.
The recipe mixes crème de cassis and lime juice, which meld with the warm floral and fresh citrus notes of the gin to create a seriously good and very moreish Martini.
The creators have named it the Kir Lime Martini: “The name reminds us of Miami and the Keys which, of course, we love for the Art Deco architecture (as you can tell from our bottle) and the key limes!â€Â
We’re told the crème de cassis delivers a rich burst of fruits along with creamy, rich, sweetness, while the lime brings just a small flash of freshness – making them perfect partners to the well-balanced flavours of the Ealing Gin.
Why not mix a few for friends and family to celebrate National Martini Day on the 19th June?
