Spring is finally here, which brings us to new spring flavours such as new Ume and Sakura teas and petits fours at Mariage Frères teahouse.
Mariage Frères has drawn inspiration from nature’s first awakening to craft the UME CHA 2025 green tea, delicately perfumed with notes of blooming plum trees.
Ume is a symbol of renewal amidst the depths of winter. Its gentle infusion reveals a refined interplay of floral and fruity nuances, offering a tasty tea to enjoy throughout the day.

Presented in a dazzling white canister adorned with a cascade of golden snowflakes, rendered partly in a tender green evoking the first buds breaking under the snow, is adorned with a striking crimson plum blossom.
This tea is elegance in design and flavour.
The second new flavour is made with sakura cherry blossoms. Sakura, Sakura ! evokes the fragile, poetic beauty of cherry blossom.
It’s an enchanting green tea, which was designed to capture the pure emotions of a walk around the trees in full bloom with a captivating scent.
In the cup, it’s silky with refreshing and slightly herbal notes to the palate, leaving an elusive fruity resonance. The limited edition, collector’s tin is dressed in a spring like radiant yellow with shimmering flowers.
For those preferring white tea, Mariage Frères has also introduced a Sakura Blue Jardine Premier label, a fabulous blue tea with the scent of cherry blossom. The indigo-coloured liqueur is reminiscent of the azure skies of sunny mornings in Tokyo.

The cup offers the refreshing spring gentleness of fragile petals taking flight presented in a sparkling canister of blue and silver.
For those preferring white tea , there is also a Sakura White addition combining the fine flowery notes of tender white tea buds and the fruity aroma of Japanese cherry blossom; the result is magnificently gourmet.
The canister welcoming this precious tea is decorated with a splendid fuchsia and silver flower, symbol of a radiant future.
