It’s all vast spaces and windows onto the ocean, pastel blues, tongue and groove, and laid-back surfer chic. Its guests look like grown-up surfers now in their late 20s, 30s and 40s but with coolly-dressed blond kids in tow.

Boldly going with Lurpak Baking Butter
Lurpak has of course always been a first choice with bakers, its colour makes the results creamy looking and it has no salt. I lobbed the required amount into the mixer along with all the other ingredients for a Lemon Drizzle Cake from Mary Berry.
Play misty for me

The martini; cool, classic, elegant and strong.

What’s On: Easter
The kids are off, Lent is almost over and the chicks are twittering; spring has sprung in yellow and lo, chocolate eggs are almost here. Put all your eggs in our basket and join us for this rolling and regularly updated food-fest.

This Cooking Liquid is perfectly balanced. It comes in a squeezy bottle that fits nicely into the fridge door, simply aim at your pan and fire. It makes a noise that sends small children into fits of giggles and creates a puddle in the pan that makes adults snigger
What’s New: Spring
April showers and blooming flowers are all part and parcel of the year’s most splendid season, but if the changeable weather has left you a little under it, here’s is a teeny weeny slice of cheer to spotlight the finery and get you ready for spring, spring, spring.
So that’s clear then – new Lurpak Clarified Butter on test
Apack of Lurpak’s already clarified butter from the new Cook’s Range is a great fridge staple, particularly as it has a longer refrigerator life than plain butter, is more economical, and just plain tasty.
