The King & Co seems to be one of those pubs that tries something different, something new and something interesting to bring in the customers. And what a winner that proves to be. Packed tables on a Monday and a kitchen rolling out food you are unlikely to find in any other boozer in London – or perhaps the country. Go, try and see if you can disagree.

Tapas Revolution is perhaps a misleading name, although founder and head chef Omar Allibhoy does have a bit of the Che Guevera look about him; stick a beret on his head and a cigar in his lips and he’d look the business.

You can snack or feast at Koji which makes it perfect for mid week, can’t be bothered to cook nights and the menu breadth means you won’t get bored. A neighbourhood place worth making a trip to.

There’s plenty on the menu at this pop up plus wraps to take away all day and cocktails too. It may be slated for only three months before it hits the road again but I reckon a more permanent home must be on the horizon.
