Sobieski unveils two creepy cocktails for Halloween – inspired by the return of ‘Beetlejuice’

Just in time for this year’s Halloween celebrations, vodka brand Sobieski has created two disgustingly delicious cocktails that are the perfect accompaniment for ghostly get togethers!

These two spooky serves, conjured up by top Scottish mixologist Adrian Gomes, have been designed to add a dash of gothic glamour to impress Halloween party guests – taking inspiration from the newly released horror sequel: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Both serves make the most of the smooth taste of 100% rye Polish Sobieski vodka and add some weird and wonderful ingredients into the Halloween mix.  ‘Bloody Murder’ adds drama to a classic Bloody Mary cocktail with the addition of deep red beetroot juice; while ‘Let’s Turn on the Juice’ uses a daringly dark black vodka that’s easy to make at home as part of Halloween preparations.

Bloody Murder’

Ingredients

60ml Sobieski Vodka

80ml Spiced Tomato Juice (such as Big Tom)

40ml Beetroot Juice (such as Cawston Press)

15ml Fresh Orange or Clementine Juice

10ml Raspberry Syrup

tbsp Black Olive Brine

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

To garnish: Blue Murder Cheese, Celery, Black Olive Eyeballs

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker (or sealed jam jar) and roll with ice. Pour into a highball glass over cubed ice. Get creative with your garnishes….a wedge of Blue Murder cheese, a celery stick, black olives or edible eye balls from the baking aisle)

Let’s Turn On The Juice’

Ingredients

35ml Black Liquorice-infused Sobieski Vodka (made with soft liquorice sweets such as Henry Goode’s)

30ml Coffee Liqueur

10ml Blackcurrant Cordial

50ml Double Cream

Cinnamon to garnish

Firstly make your black vodka. Infuse vodka with black liquorice sweets for a day or two before your party, mixing from time to time. Add one serve of vodka to a tumbler, stir in the coffee liqueur and blackcurrant cordial and mix well. Carefully layer over lightly whipped double cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
