To celebrate The Cocktail Week Great Scotland Yard Hotel’s speakeasy bar Sibin has created 3 limited edition cocktails.
Síbín meaning home-made whisky in Irish pays tribute to the illicit clubs where alcoholic beverages were sold without a license.
But Sibin is not just a heritage whiskey destination. It’s a clandestine haven of sophistication dedicated to eclectic cocktails, premium wines and Champagnes.
And this year they have created three limited edition cocktails in time to celebrate the The Cocktail Week.
Launched in 2010 -it’s a celebration of the cocktail culture. Bars throughout London participate in this exciting event by sharing their best creations. The Cocktail Week takes place between 3rd and 13th October.
Sibin’s cocktails this year include Bumblebee, Venice Mule and Voyage.
Beautiful amber red a Bumblebee comes in a beautiful coupette glass with 40ml Everleaf Forest, 10ml Peaty whisky vinegar, 20ml Honey, 20ml lemon. Shaken and served with a red tuile.
Venice Mule as the name suggests comes in a copper mule glass with a festive cinnamon stick. It’s 30ml Chairmans Reserve, 20ml Cadello, 10ml Lime juice, toped up with Gingerbeer over ice.
While Nude Savage is a gimlet glass filled with 30ml Frapin 1270, 20ml Amaretto, 10ml EVE, 20ml Coffee liquer, 30ml light honey, 14ml Lemon Juice, 30ml almond milk, stirred and garnished with a refine leaf.
