Step into spring with the recently launched 57˚ Skye earth + sea spirits, 57° Skye earth + sea London Dry Gin and 57° Skye earth + sea Banyuls Cask Finished Gin.  

These two beautifully crafted spirits, distilled on the Isle of Skye, are inspired by the natural unspoilt beauty and fertile waters that surround the island. 

Founded by Skye natives Séamus Ó Baoighill, and Seumas Gorman. On a mission to boost year-round employment on the island, the duo employs a team of skilled craftspeople who live and work on the island. Their spirits are shaped by the stunning surroundings and the unique character of the island and its inhabitants.

57° Skye earth + sea London Dry Gin marries local botanicals from the earth such as heather, blossom, rowan berry and yarrow with coastal botanicals including smoked kelp seaweed and is balanced with other botanicals such as juniper, angelica and lemon peel. 

Taste: A gin with a peppery warmth that balances well with the earthiness of the coastal influences.

40ml 57° Skye earth + sea London Dry Gin | 30ml Sherry | 20ml Raspberry Syrup | 15ml Fresh Lemon Juice | 5ml Egg White or Aquafaba

Shake all ingredients over ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries

57° Skye earth + sea London Dry Gin Jacobite Negroni 

25 ml 57° Skye earth + sea London Dry Gin | 25 ml Campari | 25 ml Sweet Vermouth 

Fill a rocks glass with ice, add gin, Campari and vermouth and stir. Garnish with a slice of orange peel

57° Skye earth + sea Banyuls Cask Finished Gin is distilled using the same botanicals as the London Dry Gin but is finished off in French oak casks, which previously contained Banyuls liquor, a fortified aperitif. The influence of the cask provides the gin with a depth of flavour and a warm golden-orange hue. 

Taste: A well-balanced gin with fresh citrus notes combined with waxy vanilla, aromatic spice and sweet butter apple notes.
