Moti Mahal, in the heart of Covent Garden, is offering love birds an Indian feast fit for Gods and Goddesses. Head Chef Ani’s recipes are derived by fusing styles and flavours from many different regions of India. For Valentine’s Day, Chef Ani has created a set menu, with the cuisine plated and displayed in European style.
For starters diners will choose from apple and beetroot shooter with leek and chicken tikka lolli pop; or flash grilled black bream with baked quail egg on masala Pao and spiced tomato confit. Main courses on offer will include: grilled chicken supreme with baby spinach, shitake and potato mash and traditional “Yakham” soup; grilled prawn with curry leaf and yellow chillies with mussel, chickpea and seasonal vegetable broth; or braised lamb shank with turnips and shallots, and Pulao rice. All dishes will be accompanied with black lentil stew, stir-fried chilli button mushrooms, and tandoor baked breads. Dessert will be a choice of chocolate and fruit cake with vanilla clotted cream; or apple and honey kulfi with caramelised fruits.
On Valentine’s Day, each lady guest will receive a beautiful Indian pearl as a Valentine’s Day gift from Moti Mahal. The special set menu will be priced at £45 per person. Visit online at www.motimahal-uk.com
