As the warmer months are slowly unfolding ,Clearspring has prepared a light chocolate dessert recipe to try.
Crafted from rich melted dark chocolate, Clearspring award-winning Organic Japanese Silken Tofu, maple syrup, and Clearspring’s award-winning Organic Japanese White Miso Paste, this mousse is a quick and easy fix for a dessert craving.
As shown by Millie Mackintosh on Instagram. Simply chill the blended mixture in a large container in the fridge for an hour and enjoy a “guilt-free deliciously nutritious treat.
Once set, customise your mousse with your favourite toppings. Try topping with frozen berries and a fresh mint leaf for a cool and refreshing taste. The dessert is perfect for a summer soiree or treating yourself on a sunny afternoon.
Clearspring Vegan Tofu Chocolate Mousse
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Setting time: 1 hour
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients: · 1 pack/300g Clearspring Organic Japanese Silken Tofu · ½ tsp Clearspring Organic Japanese White Miso Paste
· 90g dark chocolate – melted
· 2-3 tbsp maple syrup
· Any fresh fruit – we used strawberries
· Fresh mint leaves
Method:
1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl with warm water.
2. Open the pack of Tofu and drain the liquid.
3. Place the tofu in a blender with the melted chocolate, maple syrup and white miso and blend until smooth.
4. Place in a large container and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
