Santa Teresa Christmas Pudding Old Fashioned
The festive season wouldn’t be the same without the customary Christmas Pudding,synonymous with plump vine fruits, almonds, cinnamon and nutmeg spices balanced witha burst of citrus. With the raisins often soaked in rum before the pudding is made.
Lost Alpaca‘s Head Bartender Victor Marian wanted to bring this perfect pairing to life, showcasing the unexpected flavours of Santa Teresa including roasted nuts, dark chocolate and sweet spices.
Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients
– 45ml Santa Teresa 1796
– 5ml maple syrup
– 5ml cherry syrup
– 2 dashes of cacao bitters
Method
1. Add ingredients in a mixing glass and stir
2. Serve over ice into an old fashioned tumbler
3. Garnish with an orange twist and cloves
