In celebration of Canada Day on Sunday 1 July – a day that marks the anniversary of Canada becoming its own kingdom within the British Empire – The Coral Room will be hosting a series of Canadian-inspired events.
Starting at 9am with a relaxing yoga session with Canadian brand lululemon, expert yogis and newcomers alike are invited to kick start their Sunday morning with a rejuvenating yet relaxing yoga class.
After the’detox’ follows the’retox’, with a Bloody Caesar Masterclass hosted by The Coral Room’s General Manger Giovanni Spezziga in collaboration with Crystal Head Vodka.
Spezziga will be sharing his expertise to help guests create the popular Canadian version of the classic morning tipple, The Bloody Mary – where tomato juice is replaced with calamato juice (a blend of tomato juice and clam broth) creating the perfect Caesar mix.
The masterclass will be followed by a brunch, where guests will be treated to a choice of three Crystal Head Vodka Caesar cocktails including the classic Bloody Caesar, a refreshing Morning Thyme combining Crystal Head Vodka, apple juice & ginger ale and an Elderflower Power which contains a mix of Crystal Head Vodka, elderflower cordial, lemon juice, grapefruit juice and topped with grapefruit soda.
Also available will be freshly baked pastries, fruit bowls, buttermilk pancakes served with Canadian bacon and maple syrup or blueberries and lemon curd, whilst listening to Canadian born DJ Sam Frankl, who will be entertaining guests until 3pm.

Get into the swing of Wimbledon with al fresco screenings at The Coral Garden
The Coral Garden will also be providing a place to sit back, relax and enjoy this year’s Wimbledon Tennis Championships in a central London setting. Guests will be able to watch all the action live on a big screen, whilst enjoying a special offering of traditional strawberries and cream.
This will be available throughout the duration of the tournament (2 – 15 July) for £7.00 or complimentary with any bottle of Sparkling wine.
The strawberries, all grown in the Home Counties, have been hand selected from the New Covent Garden Market and can be enjoyed alongside indulgent Cotteswold Dairy clotted cream from Cheltenham uniquely served on vintage tennis rackets!
In addition to this offering, The Coral Room will be showcasing its extensive list of English Sparkling Wines – available by the glass or bottle – championing local English wine producers and providing the perfect accompaniment to the quintessentially British strawberries and cream.
Ideal for groups of friends or family celebrating something special or simply taking advantage of sunny afternoons in the city, The Coral Room’s garden surroundings promise not to disappoint. The Coral Garden is accessed via a hidden lift in The Coral Room.
