Chotto Matte Introduces New Saturday Brunch Offering Inspired by the Art of the Japanese garden
Now available every Saturday, diners can select from three unique set sharing menus, each priced at £50, £55 and £65 per person.
Chotto Matte, the Japanese-Peruvian restaurant founded by Kurt Zdesar, and known for its inventive and authentic Nikkei cuisine, is set to launch a brand new Niwa Brunch experience and specialty cocktails inspired by the art of the Japanese garden.
The Niwa Brunch will introduce new small plate creations and specialities, such as the Sushi Doughnut featuring a medley of salmon, yellowtail, tuna, avocado, and ikura; the Crispy Chicken & Waffles, and Japanese Fluffy Pancakes with maple syrup, peanut butter whip, and banana. Classic Chotto favourites including padron peppers, Spicy Tuna Crispy Sushi and Yellowtail Nigiri will add a touch of familiarity to this new offering.
Guests can also opt for bottomless drink add-ons starting at £35, which include an array of cocktails, wines, and champagne.
There are unique concoctions such as “The Andean” featuring Nemiroff vodka, prosecco, Junmai sake, passion fruit, mango, and elderflower; the “Suika E Hibisco” blending Cazcabel Blanco tequila, watermelon, cherry, hibiscus, mirin, rocoto, and lime; the “Nigai Kajitsu”, a Tanqueray Export gin creation with lychee, cardamom, wasabi, curcuma, apple, and lemon; and the “Toropikaru” which combines Doorly’s 5 Year Old rum, Tawny port, dry vermouth, pineapple, orgeat, lemon, and egg white.
