Take it cheesy with tartiflette, the simple yet iconic Alpine classic prepared with a gratin of sliced potatoes, Comté cheese and smoked bacon lardons topped with creamy, melted farmhouse Reblochon cheese.
Get out of the cold and into one of Côte’s 84 restaurants across the UK to indulge in a specially created Alpine-inspired menu even while M. Macron keeps us out of France, and off of its ski slopes
Created by Côte’s executive chef, each dish comes authentically served on a wooden board alongside fresh crusty baguette, piquant cornichons, a high-quality Jambon de Savoie, and a simple green salad.
As January is also Veganuary, Côte has launched the UK high street’s first ever vegan Tartiflette. The dairy and meat-free take on the classic recipe uses melted vegan cheese and THIS™ Isn’t Bacon, and is also served with baguette, cornichons and side salad.
THIS™ has become one of the nation’s favourite plant-based brands, using pea protein, soy protein and vegetable fibres to create a hyper-realistic meat alternative.
Also on the menu for plant-based diners is the Chou Farci – a satisfying and delicious cabbage parcel filled with lentils, roasted root vegetables and apple, and accompanied by crispy Lyonnaise potatoes and a Calvados jus.
Other Alpine-inspired dishes on the seasonal menu include a warm starter of Crottin de Chèvre – a generous serving of creamy baked goat’s cheese from the Centre Loire Valley, served with a lamb’s lettuce, crunchy apple, walnut and golden raisin salad, topped with croutons – and a Tarte Tatin, filled with sticky apples in a caramel sauce and served with a Calvados infused Chantilly cream.
Côte at Home has also put together an Après Ski menu for you to enjoy at home, delivered direct to your door. Diners can enjoy a three-course, restaurant-quality menu featuring Alpine favourites including decadent cheese and chocolate fondues with all the trimmings.
The menu also includes Côte’s Tartiflette and, for those without the gear, a fondue set is available to order as an additional in-box purchase.
The Alpine menu is available nationwide from 5th January. Visit www.cote.co.uk to discover the full menu and to book a table.
